Single Family Home - 2 Bedrooms/2 Baths With Mountain Views

Fairly new 2 story single family home. Quiet neighborhood located behind the County Courthouse. The house is just a couple of blocks walking distance to town for restaurants and nightlife.

Main floor - Living Room with Woodstove, 1 full Bath, Kitchen, Dining Room and Drying Room.

Second floor - 2 very large bedrooms and a full bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with just about anything you will need for your vacation.

Internet, Wifi, DVD/BluRay player, Dish Satellite, Stereo includes a turn-table, receiver and CD player.

**OHV/ATV Visitors - We are currently not on the OHV route, but it's not a problem to park your trailer at the house. Please do not off-load your truck/trailer at the house. Please respect my neighbors. We are 2 blocks from Greene Street. There is OHV Route information at the house for you to get familiar with during your visit. Please abide by the OHV route regulations.**

About Carol Wilkins - I traded the beaches of Cape Cod for the mountains of the West in 1990. I have lived in SW Colorado for almost 30 yrs. When I moved to Silverton, I knew it was home. This area has all of the things I like to do...skiing (both resort and backcountry), snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, it's all here, plus so much more. Winter is a magical time here. I love the quietness and peacefulness. This is an amazing community and I'm so thankful that I am a part of it. I have met some of my dearest and closest friends here. Life is always changing and full of surprises.

I'm a Jewelry Designer, specifically a Silversmith. I participate in art shows during the winter months, mainly in Tucson, AZ. I spend most of my winters in the desert with my boyfriend, Ken, and our dogs, Charley and Kendall. I am fortunate that I can still spend part of my winters and my summers in Silverton.

Karen Srebacic-Sites has lived in Silverton for many years. She is a wonderful property manager. If you have any questions regarding your stay, please feel free to call her!

Carol's reasons for this house...I chose this property because my neighborhood is so quiet. Town is so close that I can walk or ride my bike. I'm not impacted by what is going on in town when I'm in my home. Plus, I have awesome neighbors!

What makes this house unique

The unique things about Carol's house...I love that I can gaze out my bedroom window in the morning and see Sultan and Grand Turk peaks. I can be in the kitchen, looking out the windows and see Kendall Mountain. You know what I love most about this house? I built a 'Drying Room' under the stairs! After a long day of playing in the mountains, I can put all of my wet gear in there and it will be dry by the morning. All will be ready for another adventuresome day. There is nothing like putting on a toasty, warm pair of boots on a cold winter's morning!

  • Both bathrooms have clawfoot tubs. The main floor bathroom is great for taking baths. I have included some bath oils for your relaxation pleasure. The second floor bathroom is accessible from both bedrooms, with locking doors. There are 2 single sink vanities. You will find the hair dryer up here. Both bathrooms have soft, fluffy, high quality towels.

  • Bedroom 2 - 1 queen , Queen size Sealy Posturepedic Mattress and Box Spring.
    Bedroom 1 - 1 queen , Queen size top of the line futon mattress (9 1/2'' thick)
  • Both bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and are very large. The Master Bedroom has a futon mattress, but you would never know it's a futon! Very comfortable. The 2nd bedroom also has a desk, a small sitting area for reading the many books that are here for your enjoyment. This bedroom also has an inflatable queen size mattress, if you need it. The Living Room has a Full size futon couch that is easy to pull out into a bed. All linens are provided and are of good quality. Extra blankets and pillows are in the closets. Beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.

Home away from home!

The house and yard were exceptional!! Kitchen and baths excellently stocked! Wonderful appliances, cookware and dishes. Comfortable beds, bedding and plenty of bath towels. We only cooked one meal while there and easily walked to restaurants, bars and shopping the rest of our 3 day stay.

Cannot think of one negative or even a suggestion for improvement!

The whole town is friendly. We met folks who will be friends for life. If you love to ride atvs,this is the place. You could ride a new trail everyday and not get the some ride twice. Just loved the home,waking up to the mountains daily,we'll be back here soon

Wonderful place to stay

The house was beautiful and we felt at home! Great views from the house and is located to many off roading trails. We loved the back patio and our dog loved the yard. I would definitely stay here again!

Great House !

Squeek Clean. Beautifully decorated, fully equipped with modern appliances etc. My wife and I have stayed in other rentals in Silverton. This was the nicest so far.!

**OHV/ATV Visitors - Your rental deposit of $500 will not be returned to you if there are any problems that arise because you did not follow the OHV regulations, regarding the house rental and the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I have had to implement this policy because of a few that have not abided by the Town of Silverton's OHV rules/regulations while vacationing at the house. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact us.

The Town of Silverton requires a $4 per night lodging fee. This fee has been added to the nightly, weekly and monthly rate.

Pets are not to be left unattended in house unless kenneled. Any pet damage will result in a loss of deposit.

Dogs are considered for a $50/stay charge. The maximum number of dogs is 2. Please contact us if you would like to bring more than that and they will be considered with a $25/dog additional fee. No cats.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
