About Luke Reilly

My name is Luke. I'm a mountain guide based out of Ashford but spend my time mostly abroad working in South America. I wanted to share my home with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and think it would be a shame for my beautiful cabin to sit alone while I'm abroad working.

Cute cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

This little cabin is located five miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. It served as the perfect home base during our exploration of the park. We did a couple of longer day hikes in the park, and it was so nice to soak in the hot tub at the end of the day. The property is clean and well-equipped, and the owner is very gracious. If you’re planning a trip to Mount Rainier, we highly recommend Rayito’s Refuge.

Perfect location for Mt Rainier!

  • 4 of 5

Very clean, cozy cabin. Perfect location to Mt Rainier NP. The cabin is secluded, nice decks, comfy bed. Road noise is noticeable.

Lovely A-frame cabin

  • 4 of 5

Nice place to stay, but there were several things lacking. The sauna is unusable as the door does not close. There are no basic baking items like a casserole dish, and no matches for use with the outdoor candles. The R side burner of the grill did not work. No extra garbage bags or a grill set (tongs would be really nice).

Great Location!

  • 4 of 5

Couldn't have asked for a better location! Literally, just minutes away from the Longmire entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Spotted lots of elk off the main highway in the evenings. Loved having a full kitchen and being able to prepare dinner after hiking all day. Everything was neat and orderly -- comfy bed. Although other homes are nearby, it was very quiet and felt secluded. The only negative was the back door lock. A bit tricky to lock and unlock. Would happily stay at Rayitos's Refuge again...and definitely would recommend!
