About Luke Reilly

My name is Luke. I'm a mountain guide based out of Ashford but spend my time mostly abroad working in South America. I wanted to share my home with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and think it would be a shame for my beautiful cabin to sit alone while I'm abroad working.

Cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

Cozy and cute cabin in a secluded part of the woods outside of Ashford Wa. Loved it's location. There was a hot tub and sauna on the property and wonderful wooded area around the cabin. Nice accommodations.

Cozy little cabin.

  • 5 of 5

Nice cozy little cabin. It was great for the two of us to use a base camp for visiting Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area. Easy to get to and private at the same time.

Cute and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the barbecue was large and had all the needed utensils. I normally drink bottled water but the tap water here tasted really good. The location was easy to get to (right off a main road) but was away from other houses in the cul-de-sac, so there was privacy. It's also not far from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. From the time we booked our reservation, the owner was very responsive and kept in touch. We had a couple of questions during our stay and he got right back to us. The hot tub and sauna were great. The cabin is cozy, but perfect for 2 people. We would definitely stay here again!

The only "cons" I can think of is, although the location was convenient, since it is near a major road, it's not super-quiet during the day. If you have the windows open or are sitting on the porch, you'll definitely hear the traffic. But there were few cars in the evening so we had no trouble trying to sleep. Also, the cabin didn't have a microwave oven. This would have been nice to reheat beverages or to make the microwave popcorn we brought. But now that you know, you can plan the food you bring around NOT having a microwave.

Cozy getaway with great access to Mt Rainier Ntnl Park!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was everything we'd hoped it'd be. Easy access to Rainier National Park as well as surrounding recreational areas and towns. Swing by the stand on corner of NF52 and National Park Hwy to stock up on delicious Washington cherries and fresh firewood (bring cash!) on your way in. The kitchen was stocked with all essentials for whipping up meals and plenty of storage space for luggage. It is in a neighborhood but the cabin is more secluded. Overall we felt safe and had no qualms running around the area. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at Rayitos Refuge, we can't decide if we loved it more during the winter or summer. Either way we will be using this cabin again for future trips. The location is perfect and the cabin couldn't be cuter. Thank you Luke for sharing your home with us.
