About Luke Reilly
My name is Luke. I'm a mountain guide based out of Ashford but spend my time mostly abroad working in South America. I wanted to share my home with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and think it would be a shame for my beautiful cabin to sit alone while I'm abroad working.

Great cabin stay!
Hot tub, sauna, and a fireplace knocked it out of the park. However, a bit of road noise and not so secluded with the cabin going in next door. Definitely a great cabin escape if you don't mind neighbors. Fall foliage and proximity to the park a DEFINITE plus. Thank you for your hospitality!
Lovely cabin 5 minutes from the entrance to Mt Ranier National Park
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights (Sept 9 - 13, 2018) and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cabin was just the right size for two people with a well stocked kitchen, cozy living room and the most comfortable bed for getting a great nights sleep. The only reason I am giving this cabin 4 stars is the condition of the tub in the bathroom. It is an older tub with some permanent stains that are not "dirty", but rather a bit unsightly. (Everything else in the cabin seems to have been updated). In spite of the weather we were able to BBQ on the deck - the gas bbq appeared to be almost new. Other reviewers mentioned traffic noise - we could hear the occasional car go by, but that did not have a negative impact for us and again - we slept great every night. Luke was very accommodating with any questions we had and we would stay at this cabin again on a future visit to Mt Ranier.
Enjoyed our stay here, everything was as advertised. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, as the location is very close to a busy road.
Private, clean, equipped, stocked, and comfortable cabin
We enjoyed our short stay at Rayito Refuge and would do it again. The cabin had all we needed plus some. We were welcomed with a gift from the owners which we really appreciated and it immediately made us feel right at home. The deck was the most enjoyable place, one morning we were visited by three raccoons there. Private, clean, equipped, stocked, and comfortable cabin we would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Luke and family.
Perfect gateway to exploring Rainier!
We loved this cute cabin, every detail way thought of and taken care of. Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was especially nice. Quiet, secluded, comfy....what more do you need?
Ideal Cabin for Mt. Rainier Vacation
Luke’s cozy cabin was a perfection location for our return to Mt. Rainier National Park (after 50 years!). The cabin is rustic yet fully furnished and very comfortable, including solid WiFi service. Although the days were warm, we did use the heaters in the evening, and the cabin warmed up very quickly. The hot tub was quite a treat after our daily hikes. Highly recommended!
