Enjoy our hospitality with Kona Coffee, fresh fruit, cold drinks and more! Everything is newly remodeled with custom furniture and cabinets. Great value - stocked amenities in the bathroom, kitchenette and living area. Save on meals by cooking at home and fill the large refrigerator with groceries and snacks for the beach. The fully tiled condo has a king Novaform bed on a platform with lots of storage. While most units at the Kona Islander Inn have a small kitchen area in the bathroom, our living area features a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker, sink, microwave, convection/toaster oven, coffeemaker, rice cooker/steamer, and one burner hot plate, along with dishes, cookware and utensils. Also included are an A/C unit, a large ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, and private WIFI internet connection. The bathroom has a tiled shower stall, and a granite topped, custom built vanity. There are additional cabinets with plenty of storage in the bathroom.
Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler are provided for your road trips or just a walk to the nearby beach.
The property features include tropical gardens, a gated pool and hot tub area with 2 large BBQ grills. A coin operated laundry facility is located in the same building. Beyond the gate of the complex is Ali'i Drive and the Ocean, where dining, shopping and recreation activities are a short walk away. We have an identical unit with an adjoining door which can be rented together or separately. Please see VRBO #620700 for availability of renting both units together.

Steve and I have lived in Kailua Kona for 22 years, and we raised our 2 children here. We are local business owners, and we live just 10 minutes from the Condo.

Great place to stay. Perfect location to historic kona and all the shops and restaurants. The condo is wonderful and the area was quiet. You can pretty much walk anywhere you need to go. Would stay there again. Thank you again for letting us stay there!!!
Great location, cool and cosy condo which was ideal for our stay.
The place was as it was described, with everything provided for a lovely stay in Kailua Kona. Being provided with some fresh fruit and beers was a lovely touch, as well as having beach chairs and umbrellas available to use if needed. Hosts were always very responsive and friendly. Would recommend to others. Thanks for a great stay!

A super studio condo in a perfect location
A wonderful renovated studio condo in a superb location. We loved this condo which was within walking distance of the sea and many stores and restaurants. It was immaculate when we arrived and the owners had stocked it with many extras including a cooler for picnics, a boogie board and coffee and fresh fruit. The lanai was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine! We would highly recommend this condo to others.
My Best Stay Ever!
I have stayed at the Kona Islander Inn about 6 times in the past and this unit is by far the best I've seen. It has been upgraded and everything looks brand new. I arrived late in the evening and was happy to see fresh fruit and coffee for my morning breakfast. The location is perfect. You are within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and the farmer's market. The unit is on the second floor with no one above and is very quiet. The only glitch was when the A/C died at 5 PM one day. I emailed Robin and when I arrived back from dinner 3 hours later there was a brand new A/C purring away! I will definitely be staying here on my next trip.
Upon arrival, the unit was very clean and well-stocked with an assortment of amenities to allow for an easy adjustment to island life. Robin was very hospitable and offered her seasoned advice about the island. The location of the unit and the complex is near all the action of Ali'i Drive and proved to be the perfect homebase during my stay. Kudos to Robin and Steve for keeping such a nice unit!
