About Reggie White

Hi! I'm Reggie and my wife and I love staying in VRBO's all over the world! We own many properties in Kensington and around San Diego, but Kensington is our absolute favorite spot. We live just a few blocks away, so we will probably run into each other from time to time. I hope to see you soon!

Reggie White purchased this apartment in 2014

Why Reggie White chose Kensington

We live in the neighborhood with our two sons and 2 mini dachshunds. We bought this property so my friends and family would have a place to stay nearby. We loved the vintage vibe and awesome view of Kensington.

What makes this apartment unique

This beautifully maintained property was built in 1940 and the previous owners have taken immaculate care of it. I think it really fits with the historic feel of Kensington and is a wonderful place to relax!

Guestbook comments from the manager

"We spent 4 delightful nights at the "Cottage with the Red Door." The cottage had all the amenities we could possibly want - even a hot tub and luxurious towels. A lovely neighborhood to walk around in with access to all kinds of dining options. Easy access to I 15 and I 8. Extremely responsive owner to some minor issues that cropped up. All in all a great choice. "

Love Kensington!

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with the Kensington neighborhood and this apartment while visiting San Diego. It was the perfect size for two and very clean. We ran the streets in the morning then visited Clem's taphouse, Kensington Brewery, Kensington Cafe, and our favorite Pappalecco for pizza and gelato! The rest of San Diego is great, too, of course, the zoo, Midway Museum, La Jolla, and our favorite, Coronado beach and brewery. Wish we could have the ocean and climate back home!

Great Property and Awesome Location!!!

  • 5 of 5

First off, Reggie was a wonderful host! My husband and and I had to relocate for the weekend because our permanent residence was being tented for termites. We had to be out of our house by 8 AM with our two dogs. Even though check in was not until 4 PM, Reggie was able to accommodate us arriving earlier Friday morning. This took an enormous amount of stress off of us and set the tone for a great weekend. The home is as charming as it looks in the pictures and the neighborhood can’t be beat. My husband and our fur babies will definitely come back for another staycation!

My family enjoyed their stay immensely! Very comfy, clean, and homey!

Great place for my visiting family. 2 blocks from my Kensington bungalow home which is too small to be comfortable for my guests, so Ken Guest House perfect and still felt like home!

Wonderful retreat in a walkable neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

This charming one-bedroom was just what we needed. It was very clean and the bed was amazing. The basics were there for cooking and laundry. It was decorated thoughtfully inside and out. We enjoyed the walkable neighborhood. We found a number of wonderful restaurants, bars, and a market within a few blocks. Highly recomnended.
