About Reggie White

Hi! I'm Reggie and my wife and I love staying in VRBO's all over the world! We own many properties in Kensington and around San Diego, but Kensington is our absolute favorite spot. We live just a few blocks away, so we will probably run into each other from time to time. I hope to see you soon!

Reggie White purchased this apartment in 2014

Why Reggie White chose San Diego

We live in the neighborhood with our two sons and 2 mini dachshunds. We bought this property so my friends and family would have a place to stay nearby. We loved the vintage vibe and awesome view of Kensington.

What makes this apartment unique

This beautifully maintained property was built in 1940 and the previous owners have taken immaculate care of it. I think it really fits with the historic feel of Kensington and is a wonderful place to relax!

Guestbook comments from the manager

"We spent 4 delightful nights at the "Cottage with the Red Door." The cottage had all the amenities we could possibly want - even a hot tub and luxurious towels. A lovely neighborhood to walk around in with access to all kinds of dining options. Easy access to I 15 and I 8. Extremely responsive owner to some minor issues that cropped up. All in all a great choice. "

Charming & safe neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Kensington neighborhood. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is well appointed & we had everything we needed for our stay. Reggie is a very attentive owner, always answered our texts quickly, & allowed us to check in a few hours early. My husband & I enjoyed sitting in the shady front yard in the evenings when the temperature was cooler. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the back yard!

Don't miss the Antique Row Cafe for breakfast just a few miles away on Adams Avenue.

We loved it here and will stay here each time we return to San Diego. Owner makes sure you have a home away from home experience.

Great location - plenty of eating spots within walking distance.

The apartment was quite charming and well maintained. There was a plumbing problem but it was taken care of immediately after my phone call. The location is marvelous with a lot of eateries within walking distance. Enjoyed my stay immensely and would recommend this apartment to others.

cute and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay and very convenient to walk to all of downtown Kensington.

We had a little difficulty getting in to the rental (due to accommodating an early check in) but the owner answered right away when I called and his assistant was there in minutes to help.

The place is decorated with a lot of charm and character with all that you'd need for a comfortable stay.

We will definitely be coming again!

Superb San Diego Vibe in friendly neighborhood!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this lovely apartment for two stays, with a trip to Joshua Tree in-between. While small, it was exquisite, and we had everything we needed at hand, and everything was quality, quality, quality. The bed was so very comfortable, we fell asleep and stayed asleep. The soaps and shampoos were all organic, and hypoallergenic, and I was able to actually use them with my sensitive skin! Thank you so much! This apartment was absolutely the cleanest place I have ever seen in my life. I could have eaten off of any surface. Could I steal your cleaning person?

My only complaint would be that the roman shades in the front are not so private, and there is noise from the upstairs tenants, but this is an old building. There is very little traffic noise. The owners really are attentive to very detail, and our decor got upgraded from our first visit! I would return again in a heartbeat! You will not be disappointed. There are great restaurants and cafes within walking distances.
