About Mary Eileen O'Sullivan

We live in the Chicago suburbs with our three daughters.

Mary Eileen O'Sullivan purchased this house in 2008

Why Mary Eileen O'Sullivan chose Twin Lakes

We love this home because our children have spent magical time here together, and with their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We have plenty of room for everyone to gather, from morning coffee out on the pier, to picnic lunches by the water, to late night s'mores at the campfire. It's only an hour from the Chicago area, so we can get there easily.

What makes this house unique

This gracious home provides something for everyone. We love it because the kids can play or watch a movie in the spacious basement family room, while adults gather in the living room, chatting with cooks in the kitchen and enjoying the beautiful lake views. Someone is always napping in the hammock, while others are having adventures in the canoe or the paddleboat, going to the sandbar or the restaurant across the lake. My favorite thing is to sit on the glider chair on the brick patio by the water, and soak up the sun. Or I walk out to the bench on the pier, and watch the water on peaceful Lake Elizabeth.

Four lovely days

  • 4 of 5

We loved this house. Awesome location, great home away from home. Plenty of things to do indoors and outdoors.

(This was an awesome trip and I and my brothers and cousins loved it. My parents and my two uncles and my grandfather loved it too!

Beautiful, clean home with huge lawn and water activity amenities! Great for all aged.

  • 5 of 5

Family weekend, age ranging from 6 months to 75 yrs old and everyone had a great time. Home is spacious, clean and has everything you need. Pier, lawn and small beach area perfect for kids. Took advantage of the boats, paddleboards, hammock, tire swing.

Good gas grill outside..we even used it to cook up frozen pizzas when the neighborhood temporarily lost power..we didn't care since we were enjoying being outdoor and on the lake.

Homeowners responds very quickly and take very good care of this home. Highly recommend.

Perfect Lake House!

  • 5 of 5

Spent the weekend for our annual ladies retreat, and this home was perfect for a large party! Ample sleeping, comfortable places to relax and socialize and the view of the lake was picturesque! We also utilized the fabulous back porches and found ourselves sitting outside catching up for hours. The dock was also lovely to hang out on and the lake was clean & clear. Thanks so much for having us!

Huge yard, big house with lots of beds, nice beach area and a fire pit

  • 5 of 5

They have a lot of toys for the kids and adults. We used the canoe and the paddle boat, made fires and had smores, set up croquet. The beach area is small but big enough for kids to play on. We had a great time.

Lovely home!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 23 fell in love with this property on a family vacation! The flat green space was wonderful for games, and our kids loved the tire swing. Kitchen well stocked with anything you need and the swimming/small beach was great as well. Will definitely return! Thanks!

Beautiful setting for family gatherings

  • 5 of 5

We loved our week-long stay at the house. It's a gorgeous place -- the main living area is spacious, and the lake facing wall is all windows, giving us a beautiful backdrop all day long. Cute lake- themed interior decor. Loved the back deck, and a kayak, canoe, and paddle boards were also available for tooling around on the lake. Great place to re-charge and have lots of fun.
