Lovely large 3 bed 2.5 bath no-bank waterfront home w/ tons of amenities.
We are a local area family who wants to share our lovely home and let others create lifetime memories just as we do. Allyn and it's neighboring towns provide a relaxed and cozy location yet provide tons of amenities if you know where to look. We've mapped out a bunch to share but love to hear our about our guests adventures and findings.

Our second time and still GREAT.
We stayed here for a second time over thanksgiving and the property was still the great property we remembered. There as plenty to do with the kids and just a great layout of a house for all of our needs.
We definitely will be back!
Better than expected
Had a guys weekend, the house and property were great. Very private and peaceful. Plenty of amenities and everything was as expected or better.
The Perfect PNW Experience
Great place to relax with family and friends on the Case Inlet of the Puget Sound. Jae is very responsive and easy to communicate with! The home is very clean and inviting, inside and out!! Comfortable and plenty of space for all to enjoy! Book it now, it fills up quickly!!

Beautiful Home on the Water
My family enjoyed staying here. It is very peaceful and has everything you need. The one floor layout was great for my grandchildren. They loved the geese in the morning and the hot tub at night. I have to admit I was worn out from my oldest granddaughter challenging me to dance with her to the wii Just Dance video! We will be back.
Not so peaceful
The rental itself is as described in regards to the amenities and floorplan. What we were not expecting were the multiple cameras installed surrounding the exterior of the property including the back deck and hot tub area. It made us and our guests quite uncomfortable to enjoy the backyard knowing we were being watched. I opted not to contact the property owner due to the fact that we arrived on a Sat for a full week rental with six people and all of our provisions for the week. I did not want the hassle of trying to find lodging last minute so we dealt with it.It was not ideal for six adults since the third bedroom has no closet or storage. There are also multiple cabinets/closets in the home that are locked for owners use only,not just an owners closet as stated in our rental agreement. There were several windows in the home with hand written notes taped to them that read “do not open needs repair” The wood trim and paneling throughout the house is very beat up. The kitchen is well stocked, there were plenty of linens and we enjoyed all the outdoor activities. However, this was not the vacation rental for us. Despite signing a very lengthy rental agreement consisting of detailed instructions, I received a reminder text to take the trash out to the street midweek and a 747am wake up call on the last day of our vacation reminding us what needed to be done prior to checking out. One of the more unique requirements was to strip all the beds prior to leaving. We had an 1120 pm flight that night back to Fl and would’ve loved to sleep in the last morning of vacation. I did not contact the owner during our stay in our efforts to try to relax and “unplug” I did text him and let him know after our trip, that the cameras were a bit disconcerting after making an inquiry about how we would receive our deposit back and he asked me about our lack of communication during our stay. I’ve traveled extensively and have stayed in rental homes all over the world. I’ve never needed to communicate with a property owner unless there was a maintenance issue. Not sure if previous guests weren’t bothered by these things since there are multiple 5 star reviews but sadly, I would not return.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll address each point. 1.) Thanks for stating that we have given an accurate picture or our rental. Guests will be glad to know! 2.) Yes we have cameras that cover the entry points to the home much like you’d have at any hotel. This stated in our rental agreement. I’m shocked it was an issue as you had plenty of time to express your complaint. Why you state it was a last minute situation is unclear as I delivered the agreement to you to review before and after booking. Cameras as I stated are not monitored only recorded. This home is not occupied all the time. They act as a crime deterrent. Additionally, beneficial to our guests if needed. We want guests to feel comfortable. Had you mentioned this was an issue at any time we would have worked to make it a better situation including refund. 3) I went over the berthing situation during your request. From our messages “... I just wanted to touch base and make sure our accommodations would be appropriate. We have two bedrooms with queen beds and ensuite baths. A third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed & those occupants must use the bathroom of one of the other two or half bath in laundry room. Will that work? We also have a pull out full couch in the reading room…” As well as, “Attached is our rental agreement, rules and Regulations and liability waiver. Please look over & make sure you're comfortable with all of it.”. 4.) There is plenty of closets /storage in the home. We have storage filled with linens & restock items for our guests as well as some of our belongings. Not uncommon for a vacation rental. Same with stripping beds 5) The couple small windows opening mechanisms are bust. Hard to schedule repair during peak season. Thankfully the home has A/C and so most don’t open the windows anyway. 6) Wood paneling is only slightly marred in dining area where guests rub chairs against. Happens and we address every year. 7.) Thanks for letting guests know we are well stocked and that we provide great outdoor activities! 8) If our guests are there during garbage day we ask a little help with bringing the cans to the street and down again. Common practice. 9.) In regards to communication, nothing gets resolved without it. I usually send a message through VRBO upon check-in and check-out to make sure all is good, then again a simple note about the garbage the night prior. I received no reply from you ever, so also sent message via text. Not trying to over communicate or disturb you.
Definitely Peaceful Waters!
My PNW family and myself, as well, loved this beautiful property. The house is very spacious and well furnished. We really enjoyed the kitchen with every conceivable pot and pan. My children were in the hot tub at all hours; including, on days when the temps hit 95! Thank you so much for sharing your home with travelers like me.
