Our third visit!
Our extended family comes from SF and LA to meet for a long weekend each year. We enjoy our time together at the Citadel! The home and grounds are clean and well kept; the pool and spa are the main draw for us! We have fun relaxing and enjoying the great room, where we can play games and chat. We grill outdoors and our tri-generational group all feel very comfortable here. The owners are very helpful and accessible for any questions or needs.
Very nice weekend stay
My family and I enjoyed staying at the Jackson Citadel this last weekend.
The pool was my families favorite place to be during the hot summer afternoons.
The rooms were very comfortable, and the A/C worked very well.
We all enjoyed the big screen TV in the living room.
The backyard patio and furniture were very comfortable during our later afternoon gatherings.
We had a few minor issues the owner needs to know about though.
1. Ant problem thru out the home (not uncommon during hot summer weather). One visit by a pest service should solve that problem.
2. Kitchen dishwasher drain seems to leak under the sink after washing a load.
3. Kitchen sink faucet hangs down which makes it more difficult to wash dishes
Overall our stay was Very enjoyable and we definitely would stay there again!
The House was great! Enough room for group of 11! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Jocelyn was great
We had a wonderful experience at the house! All the amenities were great. We would definitely go back for another family vacation!
The property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed our time together.
The grandkids loved swimming. There is good locking gate around the pool. Carpets were freshly cleaned. Luckily, there are 2 ovens because one wouldn’t turn on. For an estate of this caliber, I was disappointed by the attention to details: the stove was greasy, there is minimal plastic glassware for outdoor beverages. Plumbing fixtures in master bath need maintenance. After cleaning the filthy BBQ grill upon arrival, with little children tired & hungry, we ran out of propane halfway thru cooking. The propane for the outdoor patio heater also ran out the first afternoon. The most aggravating issue was the malfunctioning hot tub- we were promised it would be ready upon arrival; a lot of texting, pictures, try this, try that’s with no resolution. Finally the next afternoon it was fixed but temp was set low- too cool to use when we came home that night. Be sure to pack your own hair dryer. There was no extra toilet paper in any closets or cupboards.
Lovely place to stay.
This is a very nice home, and we really appreciated the flexibility the Owner showed us on check-out time. We had a lovely time.
Comfortable Home for Large Group
We had a lovely stay at the Jackson Citadel. The house is spacious and perfectly sized for big groups. We never felt like we were cramped or falling all over each other. The house is centrally located and convenient to downtown and the freeway, but tucked away in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups visiting Paso.
