Great Lakeside Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Clean, convenient, and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay and liked how close it was to both the lake and to downtown Holland. Definitely recommended and will stay again if/when we visit next.

Convenient and comfy stay in Holland, Michigan

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Susan and Bob Kust's vacation rental. The home is well taken care of and very clean. The home has a great location and worked out well for our short road trips. Holland offers many things to see and do and staying nearby was a real benefit. At times the weather during our stay was unfavorable, but we had no problem just retreating back to the Kust's home and relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great spot within walking distance to the state park

  • 4 of 5

We had an excellent time visiting. The owners are very nice and responded within half an hour each time I had a question about where to eat, favorite spots etc.

Kitchen was great. It had everything we needed.

Location = excellent. It is half a mile to the entrance of the state park. Probably closer to .75 all the way to the beach. There are 2 lots before the state park though so we even parked closer and walked to the beach from the lot when we were feeling lazy. Sunsets were amazing!!!

Beds are my only complaint. They were not super comfortable. Both adult beds were complained about. I actually went and slept with my kids in the bunk beds and slept much better there.

You are a stones throw away from the water. There is no real access point though, but still nice to be close to the lake (not Michigan - the other one).

Owner's Response: Thanks for the nice review , glad you had a good time! We will get the mattresses replaced, they were about due. No one let us know they weren’t comfortable anymore, so thanks for that info!

Really enjoyed the house , very warm and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We really liked the area . The house has a nice flow between kitchen , dining room and living room.plenty of room to enjoy the area. Very close to the state park. Friendly neighbors. The road is close by but we never heard the cars . The house is quiet. The house has 3 bedrooms , 2 baths and sleeper sofa. Set up well with everything you need for a great stay. If you are looking to rent. Rent this one. Our families loved it .thank you . Hope to rent again if the opportunity arises

Cute place/great location

  • 5 of 5

There is room both inside and on the outside patio for a group of 8. And while you aren't right on the water, you are extremely close and can take a walk to all sorts of great spots. I loved this place.
