Enjoy a beautiful beach front 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with a spectacular view. Great for family, friends or a romantic getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the old port, watching the dolphins play or just enjoying the beauty of the Sea of Cortez. The resort has 3 swimming pools, one has a shallow end for the children to play, the adult pool (ALWAYS HEATED) has a swim-up bar and grill and the other just to float and relax. There are 2 hot tubs, a children's playground, tennis court, a fitness facility, a picnic and a BBQ area (need charcoal). The large newly paved parking lot is in a gated area and there

are guards full time around the resort. There is a restaurant on site as well as other restaurants within walking distance. Access to a full service spa is just a short distance from the Sonoran Sea. Wireless internet and WiFi are available in the condo as well as the the resort's computer room and mini market.

This 9th floor condo is conveniently located near the elevator. It has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs with cable, washer and dryer, linens are provided except for beach towels. The master suite has a queen size bed, a walk-in large shower and double sinks. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a large walk-in closet. A full bathroom with shower and tub is across the hall. There is a full size roll-away bed and a trundle

for extra guests.

The 300 sq' patio deck has table, chairs and 2 lounge chairs. You can relax during the day or enjoy viewing the lights from the old port or star gaze in the evening.

The Sonoran Sea is an exceptional resort with all the amenities and actives that you and your family can enjoy.

About Owner / Property Manager

We are an retired couple that fell in love with Puerto Penasco with our first visit. We have spent our lives in Southern California and love the beach. Puerto Penasco is a perfect getaway for us or with family and friends. We live in Southern California but found that is an easy drive with the new toll road out of Colorado de San Luis.

We enjoy spending our time walking on the sandy beach, exploring the tide pools at low tide and listening to the sound of the waves break as we lounge/read on our patio deck. We do enjoy 'happy hour' around the swim up bar and meeting new friends.

We love the friendly people that we have met at the Sea and it's location. There are several restaurant where we can walk. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful!!! Getting a massage on the beach listening to the waves break is amazing!!!

This was our 2nd stay in the condo. This visit was great. The first day, the refrigerator wasn't getting cold, David the property manager sent someone over, it was great after that. Beautiful view, great condo. Would definitely recommend. 905w

Great view off the balcony

Our 2nd stay on the West 9th floor of the Sonoran Sea; we love the view off the balcony and it's positioned in such a way that you aren't exposed to the sun too much (I don't think this would be the case if you were on the East Wing). We like the combo lock on the front door (other condos don't have this) since it gave us flexibility in coming and going. Having a roll-away bed was nice. Some beach equipment provided (old chairs, one boogie-board, beach mat).

Remember to turn the hot water switch on in the laundry room.

Not a problem with the condo per se, but lots of "ugly Americans" were there when we were: smoking on adjacent balconies and in the pool, drunk and very loud and obnoxious in the pool area, and blocking off the pool chairs all day (even though signs saying to not do that). Security might do something when you complain, but I guess they have instructions not to hassle the clients.

FYI, the absolute only places to get wi-fi access are in the lobby, the pool area, and (best) in the wi-fi cafe/mini-market (upstairs; though a lot of noisy kids hang out there too). Speaking of the mini-market: ask for the receipt before you pay; it comes in pesos -- you can then decide if you want to pay in pesos or pay in dollars at their extremely-inflated prices.

PS Our favorite restaurants: Satisfied Frog, La Curva, Wrecked at the Reef. Whatever you do, stay away from Latitude 31.

Comfortable and cozy condo with everything you need!

Great condo with a fantastic view! The furniture is a little worn, and the water pressure is a little weak, but overall this is a great unit for the price. Plenty of extra linens and all the kitchen necessities are provided. We enjoyed our stay greatly!!!

It was a nice stay overall

There were a few inconveniences in the room. The AC/Heating unit was not working and I had to call the property manager who took awhile to fix the problem. The kitchen stove had only three burners working of the four. The room door would sometimes not lock. The pool was clean and refreshing and the view from our room was amazing! Overall a nice stay.
