15 Sabal Palm is a 2 story home located in the Maritime Forest. Sit back on the screen porch and enjoy the crickets and wildlife or on those peaceful nights, hear the waves from the ocean in the background!

There is plenty of room for the entire family and your four legged children (speaking of pets, the island is very pet friendly)! The first floor contains the kitchen and living area with a bedroom and bath. This bedroom has a queen bed, a twin and a trundle. Upstairs you have two more bedrooms with their own baths as well as the laundry room. The master has a king bed and the third bedroom has 2 twins.

Our home comes well equipped with a 6 passenger golf cart, beach gear, wifi and a fully stocked home.

The beach is a short 5 minute golf cart ride!

We are conveniently located to all of the island amenities such as the grocery store, Maritime Shops, restaurants and the marina.

We also have the option to buy temporary membership passes to both the Bald Head Island Club and the Shoals Club. This includes dining and pool privileges.

We hope you make just as many family memories as we have in our special home!

OUR FAMILY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND A WEEK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL ISLAND HOME. THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS FOR ALLOWING US TO ENJOY THIER BEACH HOME. THE HOME WAS WELL FURNISHED WITH ALL THE AMENITIES EXPECTED AND MORE. THIS HOME PROVIDED US A WELL DESERVED RETREAT AFTER WE ENJOYED THE BEACHES, CREEK, SHOPPING, POOLS AND RESTURANTS ON THE ISLAND. THIS IS TRUELY A PIECE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH. WE WOULD RECCOMEND A 2 WEEK RENTAL, IT WAS HARD TO LEAVE THIS OASIS AFTER 1 WEEK. WE WILL RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN. UNTIL THEN ENJOY YOUR STAY

This place is a dream!!!! Just perfect.

We absolutely LOVED staying at this adorable clean house. Excellent floor plan- we stayed upstairs with the kids and my parents had the downstairs to themselves. The screened porch was great with all the rocking chairs- we could still rock the babies to sleep! The location is away from the beach about a 5 min golf cart ride which we actually preferred because of all the shade and animals to see. I'll admit I was a bit hesitant about booking this house because of the Nov 2016 review but I can honestly say this place was a dream- we didn't encounter any problems with anything. And we loved that golf cart sat 6 so we could all ride together. It really felt like home. Thanks again. We are hoping to make this an annual trip- except next time stay longer :)

Nice property, but has some issues

If you like to cook the kitchen is not well stocked and the equipment that is there is old and wore-out especially pots and pans, no can opener and no cheese grater. We did however like the place it suited our needs was in a good location and was fairly clean we did have to clean up a few areas ourselves that the cleaning people did not cover but overall a very nice place. I think I did have the slowest golf cart on the island but the battery stayed fully charged and got us around everywhere

Thanksgiving Weekend

Family of 5 plus family pet stayed at the cottage over the long Thanksgiving holiday. First impression was the home is way overdue for maintenance. The walls were dirty, cobwebs everywhere, carpets stained and worn. You basically sit in a hole when you use the sofas in the great room, they are way past their shelf life. Bathrooms outdated, shower heads in two of the bathrooms were equivalent to using a garden hose.

Screen porch and front porch had not been sweep or cleaned in a very long time. The rockers and tables on porch were fifthly. The kitchen appliances were good, there were not many utensils; but we were able to manage fine. Oddly when we arrived the kitchen counters and table in the dining area were greasy, it appeared that the cleaning staff used a Pledge type product on the countertops, odd. I totally understand how difficult it is to keep kitchen supplied with renters, but the cleanliness of the home should not be an issue, especially since a cleaning fee is mandatory in renting the home. The beds were comfortable, but the twins had no mattress pads, rather unpleasant.

Our first day of arrival, we decided to take a golf cart ride. The garage was a hot mess, dirty and junk everywhere. The first thing my husband said is these tires are shot. We are 1/2 across the island in the Marina area when we hear a hiss, and see one of the tires has completely split and blowing air at a very rapid rate. It's almost dark, and its Thanksgiving Day. We call just about every service we can think and naturally no one answers. So we start walking. We quickly realize this isn't going to work, with one of our party with a recent knee replacement, and a pregnant woman. Thankfully the tram folks took pity on our sad little party and gave us a lift for the 2nd time back to the cottage.

The next morning, the guys in our group pulled out the bikes from the garage, all which had totally flat tires, and mechanically were in bad shape (probably not a good idea to advertise the home as having bikes in this case). After knocking on neighbors doors to borrow a pump, they made the ride back to the cart. Brandy Parker made good on her promise and had the cart back to us that morning. Thankfully there are lots of options on BHI in which to rent, unlikely we would return to this home in its present state.

Owner's Response: We hate to hear any negative comments about our home. We have had nothing but great reviews and lots of repeat renters. We appreciate the feedback and we will definitely address any potential problems. I do live on the island full time and have a full cleaning and maintenance staff on hand. Any issues are expected to be addressed and handled asap with all of our guests. I am sorry we did not know of any of your issues while you were on the island. We all would have been happy to have made anything right.
