Great location, but it's really OLD
My family stayed there over 4th of July and it was a great location--near the beach, zoo, and waterfront shuttle. Plenty of things to entertain a group of 10 (ages ranging from 3 to 83) and even got some great views of the fireworks show.
The property itself is quite old (for the amount you pay). The floors and doors were very creaky, making noises at every move you make. Also, there are trains that run near the property blowing their horns at all hours of the day (i.e. 4:45am and 10:45pm). Lastly, we rented out the entire house, but we found on numerous occasions that random people would feel free to sit on our front porch and hang out--like bring their bottle of wine and drink. We had to ask people to leave multiple times, which is a bit intimidating!
Misleading photos. Rude manager and a snoopy owner
this is a B - house charging A+ rent. Guests are treated as nuisances no matter how well behaved and how little help they need It gets a two star rating instead of one star because of its great location
The Inn is a nice place to stay - and the location is terrific.
The property is great and if you have questions/issues the response is immediate. I would suggest the following: Kleenex in every bedroom; additional soaps in every bathroom; a few nice warm throws in the living room; garbage bags for the kitchen; updated bikes; and in the refrigerator, some fizzy water and apples for the guests.
5 couples when up for 3 nights in Santa Barbara for New Years. House was perfect. Each bedroom had a private full bath. Great open living room and awesome deck. Close to State Street and the Pier and has beach cruisers to ride. Only bad part, no dogs.
