Great home, great stay!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 stayed at Jayne's last week. And the home made the visit to Toronto perfect. So much better than staying in a hotel. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with anything you might need.

Jayne really has gone above and beyond to make sure you feel like you are at home while staying here. Perfect for families, especially families with children with lots of games and books to keep them entertained while not out exploring the city.

Location! Location! Location. The house is on a great quiet street just a few minutes from the noise and excitement of "downtown" which made it ideal for us to see the city when we wanted to and to be able to "get away from it" when we were tired. Close to mass transit, both subway and streetcar, and so easy to learn how to get where we wanted to get.

Completely impressed. Will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Toronto! If there was anything I'd say that could have made it better, was more towels and washcloths for my family, as apparently we are heavy users of towels, but that's just us, and we didn't ask for more, so we can't complain! Thank you Jayne for your hospitality, your patience with all the questions, and for helping us to get situated upon arrival!

Great place to stay in Toronto!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Unit 1 for 3 nights. Unit 1 is the main floor and basement. We had a party of 8 (3 couples plus 2 kids). The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Having a parking space in the garage was wonderful. We only took the car out once to go to the grocery which was close by. Jayne met us at the unit. She has a wonderful map of Toronto that is framed in the kitchen and she helped explain the streetcar system using the map. We purchased day passes to use for transit to downtown. This pass includes the metro, streetcar, and bus. You need to buy the pass at a metro station, so we purchased passes for the next day in advance while we were at the station. On the weekend a pass is $12.50 for a couple and the weekdays it is $12.50 per person. Kids up to a certain age are free. We used google maps to navigate. We would type where we wanted to go on google maps and it would show us options using streetcar, bus, and metro (or combination) - super easy once we figured it out. Our family had a fabulous time in Toronto! I would love to return and I would definitely stay at Jayne's place again!

A jem in the heart of Toronto

  • 5 of 5

7 adults stayed in the downstairs unit. There was a great amount of space. The unit was clean and comfortable and very well stocked. It was on a lovely quiet street with convenient access to the airport and the rest of Toronto. Overall a wonderful location. Jayne met us upon arrival and was a gracious and welcoming host. We would definitely stay here again.

Great setup

  • 5 of 5

The house worked really well for us. Love the set up and the fact that the cupboards contained all the essential ingredients for cooking was a real bonus. We prefer to stay in and cook when we are in Toronto but are used to having to bring our own condiments and spices. Nice quiet location - felt safe and secure. Wish it was available for our next stay in February!
