Pure serenity and total relaxation

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time vacationing in RI. We saw this listing on VRBO and basically it was love at first sight! We took a drive down to explore the area in early spring and it sealed the deal for us. The town of Wickford is like going back in time, a simpler time. Streets lined with beautifully maintained historic homes, flower boxes filled with unique blooms and colorful front doors.

45 Pleasant Street is a breathtaking property! Usually you find a great house OR a great location, this property has both! The house is beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture and is tastefully decorated. The kitchen has all modern appliances and everything you need to cook in. The bedrooms are bright, cheerful. A comfortable bed can make or break a vacation, our bed was very comfy!

Step outside and you'll find you never have to leave this property! A beautifully landscaped yard with an inviting in ground pool, outdoor shower, but the piece de resistance is the view!!! The harbor! We sat there every night watching the boats come in and out. The sunrises will take your breath away! Newport, Block Island and Point Judith are a short car ride away if you're looking for a day trip. This location has everything! Wickford center is a quick walk, grocery and package stores 5 minutes. It is truly a perfect spot in a very quiet neighborhood. Cindy and Bryson were wonderful and it was a pleasure meeting them! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for an opportunity to unwind and unplug from the day-to-day. We will be back to this very special town and house!!!

Excellent Weekend in Wickford Village!

  • 5 of 5

Came in for a relaxing weekend with my wife and another couple. The house was picture perfect for two couples. Beautiful home with two comfortable, cozy bedrooms, a great living room for relaxing in the evening and a kitchen perfect for morning breakfast. The patio/grill was set up nicely and the cherry on top was a great yard and dock on the water. This house was a short walk to town, as well. Would 100% stay again. Owners were quick on reply and very helpful with instructions

Great Vacation in perfect location

Just came home from a great vacation. The location is fantastic. The home was perfect for two couples and the pool made us forget about the beach. Would recommend this highly for a week vacation for anyone wanting to have a relaxing week with a million dollar view.

Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time in this beautifully located property with amazing views over the pool garden and water beyond. The pool was very welcome in the hot weather and our Daughter paddle boarded from the beach at the bottom of the garden. The lovely old town centre of Wickford with coffee shops and restaurants was less than 10 minutes stroll down leafy streets passing by historic buildings on the way. Dave's Supermarket, which had a big selection of freshly prepared take out hot and cold foods, was only a short drive away. The house was well furnished with plenty of comfortable seating and being able to look out over the water from the kitchen window was a real treat! We'll be back!!

Wonderful getaway

  • 5 of 5

Spent a wonderful weekend in the charming and cozy waterfront home. It is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The view is amazing, looking over the pool out to the beautiful welcoming!! Little too cold for the pool can't wait to return in warmer weather.

A Slice of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This property is quaint and perfect for a weekend away. My husband and I traveled from Virginia for parents weekend at the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, RI - just a very short distance away. Our daughter stayed with us in this two bedroom home. Although October gets a little cool, we enjoyed our morning coffee on the dock and our afternoon cheese and crackers beside the pool.

The town of Wickford is out of the pages of a magazine... adorable shops and friendly people. We pre-ordered steamed lobsters from the local shop on the water (only two blocks away) and enjoyed them at our house with grilled steaks and all the fixings. The following day we feasted on lobster rolls for lunch on the water - can never get enough lobster!

During our three day stay, we spent a day at NAPS, went to Oktoberfest in Cambridge, toured part of the Freedom Trail in Boston, and visited the Cliff Walks in Newport. Wish we had more time to take advantage of the beautiful sites surrounding this property!!!!

The best part of each busy day was coming back to this Wickford home and enjoying the comfortable ameniites... poolside or waterfront.

We'll be back!
