Nestled in North Pacific Beach, this condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and can sleep five comfortably. There is a California King in the master bedroom, 2 twins in the second bedroom and a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. Right out the front door faces the community pool, hot tub and a gas BBQ with plenty of room for seating and lounging around in.
This unit comes with a one secure underground gated parking spot with a clearance of 6 feet. May have a difficult time parking a large vehicle because it is on the end spot against a cement wall.

Pool / Spa
Great location, would stay again, couple issues
Spent a week at this property. Great location with building front door access to promenade and beach which was our main reason for choosing the location. Secure entrance and parking. Pool was nice option for quick cool-down. Close dining and shopping options (Cheba hut for sandwiches around the corner became a favorite quick bite!). Had some beach chairs, umbrella, single boogie board left from other folks which is always nice.
Good communication from mission sands on check in/out procedure which went smooth.
Parking space is tight as mentioned in the property description. Anything larger than mid-size car would be tricky to get in there. Found that backing down the aisle, backing toward opposite parking spot, then pulling forward into spot worked well.
As mentioned prior to our arrival the place has no air conditioning so it was typically warmer inside the place than outside. Placing a box-fan against door to suck the cool outside ocean breeze in the evenings solved the temp issue.
A couple hiccups were:
-Many gnat-like bugs inside when we arrived which wasn't a good first impression. Lots in kitchen sink, some in bathroom and bedroom first night. Not sure how long the property was vacant before we got there but having somebody do a last minute check would be good before new guests arrive. We killed them all and they didn't return for the rest of our week-long stay.
We had to clean out bath drain which was clogged from prior guests, gross.
We were there in Aug '17 and the whole building had scaffolding and window coverage from stucco replacement which wasn't disclosed until the day we were arriving. Was only an issue one day when we awoke at about 8:15am to literally air hammers against the outside of our bedroom wall as workers chipped away stucco. Pretty much made the room un-inhabitable for many hours. Called Mission Sands property management who seemed sympathetic and said would check with property owner and turn over to customer relations but never heard a peep back from them. Luckily it only happened that one morning so turned out to be fine the rest of the week but it happened to be on the one night the family had been out til 1am at concert and was not a pleasant way to start the day. Some disclosure of this or better coordination with the workers would be nice. There was no follow-up with us from my call to Mission Sands which wasn’t too cool either.
Overall, would stay there again due to location and layout.
