Beautiful unique Masonic cozy stoned home fully furnished with mountain views from the main bedroom! We are located in the center of the Old City of Safed, in the Artist Quarter & shops & restaurants on the main street, just a 10 min walk to the CBS.

There are not many homes left that are right in the heart of the mountain which makes this home very unique.

We are friendly and very happy to assist our guests with any questions and are knowledgeable of things to see and do in Safed and in the Golan, Galilee area.

Our Property is very centrally located and close to all major shops, cafe's, and restaurants.

Our guests will have full access to two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and living area.

All Buses generally go from the bus station, its no problem getting around. Be prepared for some uphill walking though as remember you are on a mountain!

All buses leave from the Safed Central Bus station that can get our guests to most major cities within Israel.

Someone will be in charge to give keys and collect keys from guests. We are only a phone call away if our guest has any issue with the flat during their stay.

Our Guest House is located in the Artist Quarter - Old City Safed and is centrally located. People are very friendly, helpful, and most speak English. If you need any info about Safed and things to do. Just ask! Safed is safe to walk at night where crime is almost non-existent.

Lots of things to choose from and many people to interact with. There are three wineries to visit in Old City - Safed. This is something not to be missed. There is a Cheese factory as well. There are many historic synagogues and the history of Safed. If you are hungry there are several places to eat that is within walking distance such as Pizza Da Leone, Yemenite Lachunch, Sushi with Simcha, 7 Grains Bakery, Tree of Life, The Art Cafe, Falafel California, Mendi's, and much more. There is also a Citadel Park overlooking Safed on top of the hill.

Guests can also enjoy a beautiful hike to Nahal Stream where you can soak in natural pools in the forest. Allow 3-4 hours for this hike into the park from the flat.

Safed offers two supermarkets that are within 2-5 minutes, two banks within 2-5 min walks, and many places to eat 2-5 min, art gallery 3 min, medical clinic 3 min, central bus station 10 min, and many synagogues 3-10 min depending on which one you choose. A good experience

  • 4 of 5

Thank you for the flexibility of our check in (which was for us the end of a very rushed trip).

Host was Excellent: provided guides, information and clear communication. Their kindness and extra effort made or travel much easier.

We had a very nice and peaceful stay. Had we known it would be like that, we would make the same decision again! It was so nice to experience the peace and safety of your beautiful country in a beautiful mountain setting.

I did dunk seven times in the spring down by the graveyard, we had a nice time in the park at the top of the hill, and we had a truly marvelous time on the "jesus boat" at Ginosar.

Marla was very pleasant and friendly, please convey our thanks to her as well.

Owner has graciously taken our input for improvements that we thought important.

I had done a previous review and mentioned the trash and disrepair of the surrounding community, but have since learned that it seems to be common to the country, and has no bearing on this rental.
