Wonderful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful rustic cabin set on the Methow River was fantastic. The owner has gone to great lengths to provide additional stocked items such as coffee, toiletries and other items that you usually don't get when you rent a cabin. We would like to return next spring our summer of next year.

Gorgeous little getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is a well maintained and beautiful historic log cabin on Lost River, in the heart of the Methow Valley. Dog friendly, the environment is a great place to vacation with pets. The only complaint I had is the extra $38 fee I had to pay to VRBO, money I could've saved had I booked directly through Central Reservations (property managers in Winthrop, WA). Overall a great experience with good access to hiking and other outdoor activities.

Awesome Log Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is a great rental - pro-style accommodations with every little detail thought thru. They even had a grapefruit knife! It is obvious the owners pay attention to this sweet little cabin and make sure it is a great rental experience. As a frequent vacation renter, I can attest this is not always the case when you rent a house.... Directions, instructions, and little notes galore. Tons of charm. If you are looking for fancy, modernized updated accommodations - this place is not for you, but everything is cozy, rustic, and works great. We thought we'd shuffle in on a cold Friday night to a chilly cabin, but to our surprise it was warm and cozy upon arrival! Firewood, kindling, matches, and newspaper is well-stocked for fires in the wood stove. One note - the roof was leaking a bit above the dining room table one night after a snowfall, not dramatic, but just a heads up. The location is right on the river and almost 6.5 miles from the Mazama store. Easy access to great skiing or snowmobiling.
