EagleVail Realty & Management purchased this condo in 2014
The condo could not be in a better location: restaurants and bars below the condo, grocery store across the street, 5 minutes from the base of Beaver Creek slopes, and other area attractions. Condo was perfectly cozy and quiet for our family of four. We would definitely book this condo again in the future. 5 stars for the condo's value!
Couple reasons for 4 stars over 5 overall (only sharing to help others who book this condo):
1. Be sure to bring toiletries (including soap) as this was not provided during our stay. Plenty of extra towels are in the wall cabinets which took us a minute to find. :)
2. Be aware that the instructions for check-in are not very clear. You must use the HomeAway app to get the full arrival details which we did not know was needed. The garage access is behind the building (two small green doors). Door access to the elevators are in the same corridor as the movie theater entrance located in the middle of the building. We arrived late and it took us a long time to find the actual building, much less the garage in the back of the building which looks more like a commercial access than a residential one. During our stay, the codes to the garage, the elevator, and the condo were all different and the instructions sent to us ahead of our arrival included non-working access codes. Be sure to note the property manager's contact information at Eagle Vail Realty because once we connected with property management directly, they provided good customer service and helped us gain access (even though it was almost midnight and we were not very nice since we thought we'd be sleeping the car at that point).
I'm going to be addressing the no kids, we are here for the snow demographic. The condo was clean, quiet, and well-equipped. Sometimes it's the little things like plenty of towels and trash bags--there was even laundry in unit (which I don't think they make a big point about, but is a great selling feature) and there was laundry pods and dryer sheets provided. If you feel like there aren't enough dishes....check the dishwasher! The TV allows you to enter your Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu accounts so that if you no longer watch live tv, and can't handle commercials like me--you're not stuck with cable. The Internet is quite speedy and could handle 5 devices with no problem, even when three of them were streaming content. The only negative you may find, is that the living room is tiny and if there are more than two of you--someone's going to be forced to try to lounge around watching TV in a straight wooden chair. Personally, I'd ditch that giant dining table and chairs, get some bar stools and invest in two comfy chairs. People can always eat in front of the TV in comfort, but it is super-difficult to lounge in a dining chair to watch tv--which is exactly what one wants to do after a day of rigorous exercise outdoors. Overall a solid place to rent, lots of restaurants nearby--although we avoided the Mexican place downstairs, the reviews are terrible, and it was 1/4 full during a very busy week....sad.
Just got back from our trip and I must say everything exceeded my expectations! We were right above retail, restaurants & grocery stores/Walmart were a walk or VERY short drive away!
Condo was very comfortable had everything you would need to make your stay awesome!
We will definitely be returning & will stay at Chapel Square again! Thanks Skip for all your help!!
This condo was very well located for skiing at Beaver Creek. It is located above a shopping mall but was very quiet on the top floor. The unit faces the back of the development and also the mountains. A small balcony faces this direction also and was a welcome place to have a glass of wine apres ski. The unit itself was small but adequate. Bedrooms were of a nice size as were the bathrooms and kitchen had everything needed to cook in. The living area could use a bit more seating. One couch for three and a wood chair really wasn't comfortable seating for four adults. Parking for one car was available in an underground lot which was convenient. There are restaurants and a food store right in the attached shopping area. There is also a shuttle directly to Beaver Creek ski area in the parking lot of the shopping center. The local river walk is nearby as are many restaurants and bars. There is no pool in the complex. All in all this was a very good experience!
I recently booked this condo for a group of coworkers. We were attending a meeting at the Ritz and needed close accommodations. The condo was in an easy to find location right next to a lot of retail stores, restaurants, super market, coffee, and a sports authority. The condo is just as pictured and we truly enjoyed our time! There was plenty of secure, covered parking and access to the unit was super easy with the homeaway app! Thank you Skip for your great service and for helping us find your condo for our trip!
Very safe, secure and clean building and condo. Not only does it have many restaurants within walking, has a very large grocery store a block away. Buses running all day to any local place you want to go. Loved my early morning walks along the river trail ( of course stopping by Starbucks first).
