Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
My family had a great reunion here. Lovely house, would definitely rent again.
The location is tricky as the house sits between 101 and the beach. So it's too dangerous to walk across with kids, meaning you still have to drive 5 min to the beach. Amazing view from the upstairs area, but it was stuffy up there and only one window opens.
The living spaces were totally clean, but there were a ton of cobwebs on the front porch, moldy furniture on the front deck (which we never used because of the condition), bad mold smells in the garage/play area and upstairs bedroom smelled a bit like an old folk's home.
That being said, it was an excellent layout for two families. Lots of room for kids to play (out of sight!) and fun house.
We had so much fun staying here from relaxing in the hot tub to walking on the beach and enjoying the seals and sea otters (yes we seen many). The house was very clean and inviting. We will definitely visit again!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
House was very spacious with 3 beds and 3 baths, he hotub was awesome! Plenty of towels, linens and kitchen items, didn't need a thing! Beautiful yard with flowers and bridges. Very close to the beach and within walking distance of Yachats.
My daughter and her husband and 7 month old son met my husband and I there for a week. We had ALOT of fun exploring the towns, tide pools, sea lion caves, hiking , eating out and also making meals in our rental. Most evenings ended with wine, beautiful sunsets and foos ball or dart tournaments. We hated to leave
We arrived to the rental to find dirty dishes in the cupboards. Turns out the dishwasher was broken... and this remained unresolved throughout our stay. So our weekend involved washing our own dishes... for every meal. Not ideal. Our second day there we took showers in the downstairs showers and both of them were not draining properly and 2-3 inches of standing water remained; in addition to the two downstairs toilets not draining/backing up. We called and the company sent out a plumber to resolve this issue... thank goodness! There were other more minor issues: broken flapper on toilet upstairs, no foil, no 1/4 cup measuring cup in kitchen, dirty light switches, and the step lever was broken on step-to-open garbage can in the kitchen. We were pleased to find a swing in the backyard and enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table, and pool table. The company let us have late check out on our final day there, which was nice.
