L'appartamento era ottimamente arredato, l'edificio era tranquillo in una zona verde senza rumori

Appartamento nell'appennino bolognese

The house looks across a valley towards typical Apennine countryside: rolling farmland and steeply wooded hills. Here traditional villages cluster on the lower slopes of peaks rising to nearly 6,300 feet, and inviting paths lead up through thick majestic woodland of beech, oak and chestnut to high mountains. There is a wide variety of footpaths for walkers. These range from “very easy” to “challenging”, but all offer superb views. Each route is precisely marked on detailed maps, which are ideal for unaccompanied walkers.
The Park Administration also offers guided walks through this magnificent forest to discover unique plant and animal species as well as other educational activities such as bird-watching and wolf-tracking.
Autumn is a special time here, with the beech, oak and chestnut woods providing beautiful displays of the autumn colours.
In such quiet, untouched area the welcome is genuine and warm.
A wide range of hotels and restaurants offer the specialities of a regional cuisine of pasta, cured meats, fish from the rivers, bread made from chestnut, flour and, in season, mushrooms, truffles and chestnuts at resonable prices.
This area can be used also as a base to visit most famous historic cities in central Italy in one day.
