We both grew up in Tampa, Fl and have vacationed in WNC with our family for years. While our grown children are scattered around the country, we all love to meet in Waynesville for family time!
Nancy & Jack West purchased this apartment in 2014
As we were building our vacation home in Waynesville, we fell in love with the downtown area and wanted to be a part of it. We bought one of the historic buildings (1925) and renovated the upstairs into two urban flats. We are excited to be able to offer these unique flats in the heart of Waynesville!
There is nothing like being able to walk down the stairs and be in the middle of downtown with all the restaurants and shops waiting for you! Start your day with breakfast at Trailhead Café & Bakery, stroll the brick sidewalks of town, enjoy lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants, make a stop in the candy section of Mast General Store and complete your day with live music and wine pairings at The Classic Wineseller.

We stayed in the Waynesville Flats for 4 nights in February 2017. The location can't be beat. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops after days of hiking and site-seeing and having a dedicated parking spot was really useful.
The apt itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The only exception was that the bed only had a thin coverlet on it and there was only one other also fairly thin blanket provided.
We prefer to sleep with the place a little cooler so we went to Walmart and purchased another blanket for ourselves.
We would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful Apartment! Loved the location and convenience of dedicated parking in the back, looking to book again this year. The only down part was the weather.
We had a wonderful time. The rooms were great, very nicely decorated. Would recommend to friends for a wonderful place to stay. Thanks so much.
Spent 2 nights in this lovely abode, which is right in the downtown area across from the Mast General Store. Everything in the house was in perfect condition and very tastefully decorated too! This was our first time to Waynesville. Myself, wife, and two girls had no problems feeling perfectly comfortable. Also nice to have dedicated parking in the back of the building so that once you arrive all you have to do is walk wherever you want to go. We happened to go on a Friday in the summer, when there is a public bluegrass concert with hundreds of people. FUN!!!
The apartment was extremely well situated to explore different parts of the Smoky Mountains. It was amazing to stay in such a quaint location in the historic centre. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you needed in the kitchen if you returned from a full day exploring and just wanted to relax. The town of Waynesville had excellent facilities, wonderful restaurants and on the day we arrived there was a street party which was a great start to what was a very enjoyable visit. We were very sorry to leave as there is so much to do in this incredibly beautiful area.
My husband and I came up to train for our endurance event for the weekend. The location of the apartment was PERFECT!!!! The bed was so so comfortable, there was no outside noise coming in (except a siren), the apartment was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better place, better location to the restaurants, breweries, etc. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us!
