This charming & peaceful 1-story West Hollywood Back Guest House is a true gem! With beautiful natural light, accommodating layout, outdoor patio and small luxury accents throughout, this ideally located WeHo home makes for a dreamy stay.

Walking distance from all the action off Melrose Ave, this thoughtfully curated Studio was designed with your ultimate comfort & tranquility in mind.

With 2 properties onsite, this 400 sqft guest house & an 1800 sqft Main House. This home is situated in one of LA's best neighborhoods, West Hollywood. Though only moments away from it all, this guest house has great privacy too.

Upon entry, French doors open up to your unit. All furniture has been thoughtfully curated to compliment the aesthetic of this home. We've added little touches of luxury along the way, which we hope will make you feel special.

With an Open Layout and Vaulted Beamed Ceilings, the space feels spacious & sun-kissed.

The Kitchen is beautifully remodeled. Its modern design and granite countertops give this home an upgraded feel. Appliances include a full sized gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, & mini-refrigerator. This kitchen with all you need from dish towels, utensils, glassware, plasticware (for the kiddos!) plates, pots, pans, coffeemaker, blender, wine glasses etc... For a special treat, we've included a set of pottery, plates and mugs, from LA hotspot THE IVY.

The living area is spacious, with a thoughtful layout split into a sleeping area and a dual-purpose living area.

The sleeping area includes a *Brand New* Queen size bed with a Westin Heavenly mattress, down pillows & down duvet. Linens provided. Additional storage built in underneath bed for added convenience.

The dual-purpose living area is composed of a trundel style day bed featuring 2 twin mattresses. A custom farm table & additional seating, turns it into an eating or work area. Use this area to have lunch in or use it for additional guests.

Master Bathroom is spacious with a full-sized stand up glass walled shower, sink & vanity. Indoor and Outdoor Towels included. Plush Bathrobes for added an added touch of relaxation.

Comfort Amenities include: 40 inch Flat Screen HD Smart TV, Netflix, Wifi (fastest internet available), A/C, Washer & Dryer.

Parking: Street Parking only. Please read street signs carefully. West Hollywood Parking Permit included.

Windows all have shades and drapes for desired privacy.

French doors open up to the patio with lounge furniture, relaxing hammock, lush plants, tropical fruit trees, and tall privacy hedges. Enjoy a some fresh air, while listening to the tranquil sounds of chirping birds.

Nestled in the epicenter of West Hollywood and surrounded by mature trees, this home is a unique experience. It’s the perfect place to retreat to after your day exploring this diverse LA landscape.

Other Property Onsite: A 1,800 sqft 3 bedroom main house is available as a separate rental or together with the guest house. Main house has a spacious front yard which and is also surrounded by tall hedges to ensures privacy amongst all guests.

Guest Access

During your stay, you will have sole access to this back guest house, including the patio area directly in front of the back guest house. Parking is shared with the Main House.

Off Limits: Just 2 Items... 1.) The front yard is part of the Main House, and we ask that you please use the designated patio space in front of your unit only. 2.) For your safety, we ask you not to use the fire pit. Other than that, enjoy the guest house, washer & dryer and outdoor patio space. 3.) Onsite driveway parking is dedicated to the Main House only. Unless otherwise approved by the management company, it is off limits. Parking is street parking only. We do have 1 West Hollywood parking permit available for this Back Guest House. Otherwise, there is usually parking on the other side of Melrose Ave. Aprox 1-3 blocks (website hidden) Property Management, is a friendly team of folks who look after this beautiful property while the owners are away. The owners are wonderful people and this is their home they retreat to. We simply ask that you respect & take care of the property as if it where your own. Let the love flow.

The Ink Property Management Team will be just a phone call away should you need anything. At the same time, we respect your privacy and we will not be invading your vacation time. We are just close enough... Win Win.

The Neighborhood

West Hollywood is truly one of LAs greatest neighborhoods. With award-winning dining and endless boutique shopping, there is plenty to keep you entertained just off of Melrose Ave.

Enjoying shopping on the exclusive Melrose Avenue, where you will find Alexander McQueen, Diane von Furstberg, Joe’s Jeans, Chole, Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs, Theory, Paul Smith, Caroline Herrera, Herve Leger, Monique Lhuillier, Fred Segal and many, more stores. Additional shopping nearby at The Grove, Beverly Center, Beverly Connection, each less than a 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

Many Farmers Markets and Flea Markets to frequent. Thursday night market on Sunset, the Saturday market at the Grove and the Sunday markets on Melrose Avenue and Melrose Trading Post.

Fabulous Dining at hotspots such as: Ink, Ago, Taste, Lucques, Fig & Olive, Mari Vanna LA, Nobu, Koi, STK, Comme Ca, Red O, Barton G, and Connie & Ted’s, all of which are within a short distance.

Sweet Lady Jane and Duff Cake Mix are also just around the corner. Directly across the street you will find Crossroads where you are likely to see paparazzi standing outside waiting to snap a photo of one of the many regular celebrity clientele.

Juice or Coffee? Take a short stroll to LA juice for a fresh squeezed juice or continue along Melrose Avenue where you'll find delicious coffee & lunch at Urth Café or Alfred’s.

There are many parks in the neighborhood such as King’s Road Park and West Hollywood Park. For the fitness minded folks, you will be excited to hear of the variety of studios nearby including: Winsor Pilates, Xtend Barre, Cycle House, and many others.

If you decide to leave the vicinity, you'll be happy to hear you are only a short distance to Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Central LA. About 25 minutes to downtown and the valleys.

Getting around

Let’s face it, LA doesn’t have the greatest public transit system. Luckily, this property is situated within a short walk to Bus 10/48, with an easy connection to the BUS 90/91 in Hollywood. Theses bus routes, easily connect you to most subways around the city.

Other Things to Note

A few home truths to note....

This is a studio. It’s most comfortable for 1-2 guests, but it can accommodate up to 4 guests.

Its a studio, and aprox 400 square feet. Though well equipped, it is a small space.

There is no parking onsite. Street parking only. This property is on the border of west hollywood, and we have 1 parking permit available for your use issued by the city of West Hollywood. We ask that you please review the parking signs to ensure you are parking in the appropriate zone specific this permit. Otherwise, you will need to find street parking on the other side of Melrose ave. This means parking will be about 1-3 blocks away, across the main street

This home is nestled off a busy street. Though thats great for walking everywhere, there may be a little ambient noise from the main road. When inside the home, it is very rare to hear any outdoor road noise.

Perfect location for visiting L.A.

This is a nice little house in the middle of the city. For two persons it is perfect. The bed for the other two persons lacks a bit in comfort.

Adorable and convenient.

This guest house was just the right size for the two of us. It's located just behind Duff's Cakemix shop where you design your own cake. Safe neighborhood. Secured gate to enter plus good locks on the guest house. Parking was interesting during the day. Usually had to pay a meter if coming back earlier then 5pm. Then moving to the spot right out front of the rental. I never had to park far though. Usually within the same block. The place was pretty clean. A few suggestions.....1)clean spiderwebs above kitchen cabinets where vent is. 2) clean drawers and cabinets every once is a while. They were not bad. I am a clean freak and one of those people that always washes all dishes before using anything.

There is only Net Flix. I couldn't get any remote to turn on any cable. Who really needs to watch TV though while on vacation?

If no renters in the big house, access to the driveway gate would make life easier. But I understand stand last minute renters of the big house could cause confusion.

This guest house is in a perfect area as far as I'm concerned. Plenty of shopping, entertainment and food. Grocery is a drive away but not that big of deal.

Kitchen had everything needed except a strainer. I bought a new non stick frying pan and left it there. They had two but eggs stuck even with butter. They failed to state they have a blender. I brought my own travel one due to my diet. Waster luggage space. I should have called.

I would rent this again for sure.

A great hotel alternative!

This studio guest house was a perfect alternative to a hotel room. It was very clean, has a well-equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom, comfortable bed. The front house did not have renters, so my week-long stay was very quiet. There are plenty of great restaurants and coffee houses you can walk to. My only issues were that the street parking was a little tricky over the weekend, during the day only; the tv is hooked up to Netflix only; and I thought communication with the rental company should have been better. With that said, I would stay here again.

Extremely cute and cozy nest in a great location

This place was great. It is perfect for two people. It could fit another person or two if you are close to them with no issues. The neighborhood felt safe and there is a great vegetarian place across the street. The food isn't boring though so dont get hung up on that. It is deceiving from the outside but it attracts celebrity patrons so if you dont trust me, trust them.

The parking is not as intimidating as it may sound. There is a two hour period once a week where you have to move your car, but otherwise, there is usually parking within a block or so (both nights we parked right in front of this property).

Overall, I would say you will be really happy with this location should you choose to book it. Thanks for having us!

Quiet, comfortable and in a great neighborhood

Very comfortable, in the best location - very central. Very secluded, private and quiet. Has everything you need. Highly recommend it!

Very close to the Grove/ Farmers Market, great shopping and a short drive to the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, if you are seeing a show.

Convenience and comfort in West Hollywood

Nice place. Well located and comfortable - we appreciated the small kitchen and use of the washer and dryer. Enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, shops and coffee (the wonderful Alfred Coffee on Melrose Place to be exact!)) Pretty outdoor space, enjoyed the hammock. Parking was not a problem thanks to the neighborhood parking permit provided. Thanks for sharing your guest house!
