Cozy Beach Cottage with terrific waterfront views
About Linda Culley
I grew up in this neighborhood and on this beach. It is truly a special place. I love having guests who can enjoy the cottage and doing whatever possible to make your stay comfortable. I am recently retired from a 42 year career in Public Administration and I am looking forward to managing Sinclair Beach Cottage as my main hobby!
Linda Culley purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Linda Culley chose Port Orchard
This home has been passed down through my family and I am keeping the tradition alive. I grew up in the house next door to the cottage and my grandmother and grandfather lived in the cottage while I was growing up. Then my sister lived in the cottage for about 30 years. I purchased the property in 2014 and renovated the cottage into a vacation rental.
What makes this Cottage unique
This property sits on one of the most pristine beaches in Kitsap County. It is low bank waterfront with direct access to the beach. The waterfront deck provides a 180 degree view of Sinclair Inlet, looking towards Port Orchard, Bremerton, Manette, Agate Pass, Bainbridge Island and Rich Passage. The ferries pass every 30 minutes. The beach is great for exploring for sea glass and sea shells and exploring sea life at low tide. There is a large lawn area, great for Croquet or Yard Darts (both provided). The water is great for kayaking and canoeing. (Please bring your own).

We LOVE Sinclair Cottage!
Sinclair Cottage has been our " home away from home" for several years now when we visit our daughter and her family in Port Orchard. Each time we stay, we enjoy it more. The location is incredible with beautiful views of the water, mountains and surrounding towns. The sunsets are breathtaking. There is a lot of wildlife, lots of treasures to search for along the water and the cottage itself is beautifully nostalgic and comfortable. We have seen everything from eagles to sea lions and hunted for treasured sea glass, shells and sand dollars. It's great to have a car to get around so we usually rent one in Port Orchard and take day trips to surrounding areas. We have especially enjoyed the Olympic National Forest, Bainbridge Island, Port Townsend, Poulsbo and the Tacoma Zoo. When we go to Seattle, we take the foot ferry from Port Orchard over to Bremerton and hop on the Seattle ferry. It's easy, inexpensive and no traffic to deal with. We have spent many happy hours there with our grandchildren, walking along the water, playing games and having wonderful family meals. Thank you Linda, for sharing this wonderful gem with us!
This property and location were absolutely perfect for my family of four:). The views from the house were amazing and we really enjoyed taking the ferry throughout our stay. The kids enjoyed renting a stand up paddleboard and kayak one day from a local shop in town . We were not on any time constraints so we just sat back and relaxed and enjoyed the ferry ride into Seattle . The home is very clean and comfortable. Linda was very responsive to any questions I had. Great dinner at Anthony’s . I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone !
We really loved this cottage. Super clean and a beautiful view. The town of Port Orchard has a few really good seafood restaurants and the hiking at The local parks was great. We’ll be back!
Sinclair Beach Cottage
Spent a wonderful relaxing weekend at this little beach cottage. The cottage was clean and in a great location to enjoy the passing of the ferry that goes to Seattle. In the evening enjoyed the nice breeze, loved the claw foot bath tub.
Linda was very accommodating and replied quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Will stay again on my next getaway weekend.
Great cottage, fantastic views
Great cottage with fantastic views of Sinclair inlet, the Olympics and all the passing ferries. Right on the beach, we had great weathera vista of the snow covered Olympics and a wonderful time in a well stocked cottage. Very helpful owner.
Waters edge location
This cottage is located perfectly by the water. Very clean and well stocked. Quiet location. Enjoyed watching the ferry coming and going. Had a few deer wonder by on the beach a few seals checking out the neighborhood too. If I were to go again I would probably choose a warmer time of year.
