The location of this fabulous residence is so convenient. It's just one-half mile from Blackburn Point Road and the historic swing bridge over Little Sarasota Bay and a bevy of water and nature activities happening all year long. Just to name a few there's, paddle boarding, kayaking, bird watching, fishing, and exploring the mangrove islets. The Sarasota Scullers rowing team call Blackburn Point home where you can see them practice in the glassy bay water at sunrise. You may never want to leave the little Casey Key island, But you won't be gone long when running errands, there's a convenience store, gas station, diner, pharmacy and fancy pet store all within one mile. Major grocery store chains, the post office, WalMart and Target are within four miles. Historic venice is just 7 miles south where there are wonderful antique shops and interesting consignment stores. There's a farmer's market on Saturday mornings too. Downtown Sarasota, the marina, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, famous for their orchid collection is just 10 miles north.
