Fantastic mountain home
The condo is perfect for a stay at mammoth. Only a short walk (or bus) to the slopes and the village. The condo itself is beautiful and has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. The shower is delightful and the bed is very comfy. The perfect mountain retreat! Thanks so much Maureen, I hope to come back soon.
I am so happy you enjoy the condo and your stay. We look forward to you returning. Thank you!
We stayed here the week of March 4, 2018. This place was perfect for my family of four and grandma. Although it's a one bedroom it still had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loved that the balcony was enclosed and parking was right out front of the unit. My wife and i walked to canyon lodge for some snowboarding. The walk was not far but was up hill. I would drive or get dropped off next time. The couches were a bit saggy and the shower head could use some updating. Maybe a detachable one but other then that...The condo was awesome and Maureen is so fast at responding to any and all questions we had. Thank you Maureen and Jack! We had a blast! until next time...See ya!
Ps. Thank you Troy for all that you did for us. You are not forgotten.
Cozy spacious condo, close to Canyon Lodge
We stayed at this condo the latter part of the President's vacation week. The condo was cozy, well-kept, well-equipped with kitchen supplies for cooking in, and spacious enough for our family of 4 plus our small maltipoo. We were treated to fresh snowfall within our first 24 hours of arrival for a great start to our vacation! The condo is conveniently located to the shuttle stop that takes you to the Village, or you can drive the 2-3 min drive right up to Canyon Lodge (must do it early though as parking at Canyon fills up fast). It was also very conveniently located next to the office for apres ski use of the hot tub and game room, and the keyless entry was a bonus. Finally, Maureen was very responsive through our rental process and in answering any of our questions. We would certainly stay here again and recommend this place to others.
Clean, comfortable, good location
My daughter and I stayed for three nights of skiing/snowboarding. The location is very good- options to get to the hill are: a 10 minute rather strenuous uphill walk to the Canyon Lodge, a short drive to Canyon Lodge, or jumping on the shuttle which stops within 100 yards of the condo. It is close to the resort village as well (a three minute drive). Parking was very convenient, right outside the condo. The unit was clean and well equipped. The kitchen/dining/living space is generous and comfortable. The bedroom, bathroom and small bunk beds are a little cramped but were fine for our purpose. I wouldn't recommend the bunk beds for adults. The TVs worked well. Communication with the owner, Maureen, was by email with no problems.
Very nice stay!
Everything about this trip was easy as could be thanks to Maureen's quick response to questions and detailed information after booking.
The condo is exactly as pictured and was clean upon our arrival. Late check-in was no problem - thank you!
We chose to drive to Canyon Lodge - got there in a few short minutes for snow adventures. The Village was a short drive as well.
There are two notes I would offer to anyone considering the condo:
1) Parking is not covered (not the end of the world, but in snowy times, garages are a bonus) and
2) The pots/pans are non-stick.... I know it may sound silly and that many appreciate non-stick cookware, but for those like me who aren't fans of nonstick, bring your favorite pan if you can (I usually do but forgot this time!). No deduction of stars from my rating for this!! - just a comment for those like me who would like to know ahead of time. There are plenty of dishes, cups, silverware, glass bakeware, etc. Also, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, filtered water pitcher, etc., available to use. Overall, a very well-stocked kitchen.
We were very happy with the condo and our stay, and thank Maureen and Jack very much for offering their home to others. We'd happily stay here again on future trips and would recommend it to others.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! We look forward to you returning to Mammoth.
In a more quiet area of town, close to the shuttle stop, and near the bike trail, just down the hill from the lifts at Canyon Lodge
