About Lynn Manilow
John and I are true lovers of our amazing city and embrace all that it has to offer. John was born and raised in Chicago, and I am a transplant of Detroit, MI. As a docent at the MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art), I have made sure to stock the apartment with wonderful art books for you to enjoy. John, a lover of food and wine, would love to chat with you about all the local dining treasures in Chicago. John loves food so much that in 1994, he opened up his first restaurant called, John's Place, the very place we met. John and I now own 2 restaurants including John's Place in Roscoe Village and the White Oak Tavern & Inn.
Lynn Manilow purchased this Apartment in 1999
Why Lynn Manilow chose Lincoln Park
We purchased this property because of its high ceilings, skyline views, spaciousness and location in Lincoln Park

Fabulous city condo
We had a wonderful stay in this condo. It is huge and has all the amenities. It was a perfect place for several members of the family from different cities to converge for a weekend together with plenty of bedrooms for privacy and lots of common space for visiting when we weren't out in the city. The location is great. Street parking was relatively easy. The view from the top floor of the city lights at night was good. There was minimal street noise as expected in the city but no noise from the restaurant below. The only downside was that there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the entrance of the condo and no elevator. For an elderly person with limited mobility they were challenging. A chair on the landing between flights for resting would have been helpful. But, for the able bodied, this place is terrific. The host was helpful and responsive. We had everything we needed and it was really clean. We will stay here again!
Wish we could've stayed for weeks!!
This is the nicest VRBO I've ever been!! Lynn was very accommodating of our need to check in a little early with 2 children needing afternoon naps!! There was nothing lacking, and we loved the area and the close proximity to Lincoln Park and the Chicago Zoo. Webster is a beautiful street to walk in its entirety to these places!! As a bonus, the restaurant downstairs, the White Oak, had delicious food and fantastic friendly service. We hope we can stay here again and again!!
Great place to stay!
Great place to stay! Beautiful space, great hosts, nice neighborhood.
A Wonderful Retreat
My friends and I shared a wonderful weekend together at this property. The location was very convenient, parking was easy, and the neighborhood had great shops and restaurants. The property itself was exactly as promised. Clean, open, beautiful, and comfortable. The owner was so kind. Our only regret was that we didnt have more time! I highly recommend this property and and the delicious restaurant downstairs!
Great place in a nice location
Huge, bright duplex with everything we needed for a week. Thanks
This was truly one of the best VRBO rentals we have experienced in our many travels! Lynn and John were great hosts and very accommodating to our requests. The apartment was perfect for our large group and all rooms were lovely and well equipped to meet our needs! The neighborhood offered many quaint shops and food opportunities! The restaurant below the apartment had delicious food and we enjoyed the friendly service! We hope to stay here again as we continue to gather our family in Chicago!
