Prescott Cottage Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 4

Our marina cottage is just over two blocks from the historic prescott town square with its many events, shops and restaurants. It is a beautifully furnished cottage originally built in 1913 and has been updated with all the conveniences you would expect in a modern home in 2014 (If you have trouble getting a quote for your possible stay, please email or call directly about your request).

A wide front poach with comfortable outdoor furniture allows you to take in the morning sunrise with a coffee or tea to start your day. The front entry provides a happy greeting to the two bedroom, two bath cottage. The living room is complete with a gas fireplace, cable tv, and dvd. Wireless internet is also provided. The kitchen contains a gas stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Laundry facilities are provided off the kitchen, along with a cozy Den/library. The cottage sleeps four comfortably (one queen and one full size bed) outfitted with bedding and comforters. The roomy space is perfect for a couple's get-a-way, business retreat, family vacations and entertaining.

Prescott is the perfect vacation get-away! There is much to do Prescott. Just walking around town is a great way to spend the day. In the evening you can do country western dancing or contemporary dancing at one of the 'saloons' on whisky row or take in live theater.

Prescott hosts annual events. Just a few are: the April whiskey off-road mountain bike races (epic rides); May has the highland games; June includes frontier days and Prescott rodeo, 4th of July celebration and parade and Prescott's Indian art market; August has the prescott film festival and cowboy poets gathering at sharlot hall; even December in prescott boasts the acker holiday music festival and christmas courthouse lighting and parade to name a few. All that plus sports with three lakes close by and art and special events monthly downtown. Also, we are proud to include sharlot hall, the historic elk's theater and yavapai college, which offer special events during the year.

Contact: Harry or Diane for rental information. We would love to have you stay in our exceptionally charming cottage to take a break from everyday life and to see what Prescott has to offer!

About Harry Brown

We have always loved Prescott and when I had an opportunity to accept a job up here in 2008, it gave us a chance to look for a place that complemented our previous trips abroad.

Harry Brown purchased this cottage in 2014

Why Harry Brown chose Capital Territory & High Country

We love the vacation rental experience and felt this cottage built in 1913 would be a great addition for us, due to the location and charm of the cottage.

What makes this cottage unique

Easy walk to the heart of downtown and located on a quiet street with very little traffic. Great view from the back deck of Thumb Butte and surrounding mountains.

We Enjoyed Our Stay!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this house for six nights with my 11 year old granddaughter. We both loved it! It's an old house that has been beautifully redone. It's clean and simple, with high ceilings and lots of windows. There's a small patio in the front and one in the back. The pictures show a small white loveseat in the living room, the owners have replaced it with a much larger, comfortable loveseat. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are good (we loved the bathtub!) and the kitchen is small but very nice. Oh, and the location is amazing, so close to the best of Prescott! You can walk into downtown easily. This is a safe, comfortable, clean place to stay. I love this house so much I'm renting it again next week.

Divine honeymoon suite

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I got married in Prescott on April 8th and my sweet mother in law booked us this VRBO for the wedding day and a few days after for our honeymoon. We couldn't believe how beautiful and neat this house was. Not to mention the snacks, amenities, extra supplies if you forgot to pack anything and the most helpful binder on how to use everything in the house and great places to go while staying in Prescott. You can tell the home owners really care about their house as much as they do their customers. When we go back to Prescott we will definitely be staying here. Highly recommended!!!!

Peaceful, tasteful, and close to square

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have stayed at the cottage twice during 2015. Each visit has been terrific. The cottage is clean, has all necessary amenities (and more!), the owner is very responsive to any requests, and the location cannot be beat. This is our number 1 choice in Prescott for a home away from home.

We absolutely loved the cottage on Marina. It was perfect for my husband and me. The home was equipped with everything we needed for our week-long stay. We are already planning to book this VRBO again for our next trip to Prescott.
