About the Property

New house with 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 4-8 and is close to everything

This newer four bedroom, three bath house is in the perfect location on the east side and is the perfect place to establish as home base for the ideal Austin Experience. Stay near downtown and close to great restaurants and the best area for nightlife in Austin. Great for SXSW.

With plenty of space to stretch out, you can sleep as many as 8 people in here.

Fully equipped, open kitchen with large spacious refrigerator, and there are two grills out back (gas and charcoal) as well as a smoker. Kitchen looks into the open family room and dining space. The family room has a TV with AT&T Uverse (including HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, ESPN, etc). Free wifi.

Bedroom one (master, downstairs) features a king size bed and private full bathroom.
Bedroom two (downstairs) features a queen bed and a full size couch and has its own private full bath.
Bedroom three (upstairs) has a queen bed with a shared full bath
Bedroom four (upstairs) is equipped with single bed and shares a full bath with bedroom three.


Each bathroom has its own shower (or tub combo).

In the front of the house, there is a covered porch that looks off on the street and there's always plenty of great people watching, especially during SXSW. In the back, there is also a covered porch with a table and chairs for lounging (with more privacy).

You can get around town with an Austin B-Cycle pass (bike sharing program), and there are multiple stations within a five minute walk from the house. At current rates, it's only a $4-5 Uber ride home from most places downtown. To walk to the convention center takes about 20-25 minutes but is a 5 minute bike ride. There are multiple bus lines that run downtown (departing in 20-30 minute intervals).

The property is located right off of east 11th, about half a mile east of I-35 (and Franklin BBQ). It backs right up to a food trailer (which includes one of the top BBQ trailers in Micklethwaite Craft Meats), and Eastside Pies (NY style pizza) is half a block away. Within a 5-10 minute walk, there are Indian, Japanese, Italian, African, French, Creole/Cajun, Tex-mex, and various Americana and gastropubs. Options galore!

Beyond lots of restaurants, it's a short walk to the East 6th bar district, Red River bars / music venues, and to UT. When SXSW hits and traffic is nuts, rest easily knowing that you can walk home quicker than taking a cab or an Uber.

This house is in the perfect location - close enough to downtown to walk or bike but still far enough to have a yard and some privacy at night.
