This huge log townhome is directly on the water with a large flat yard and your own boat slip. This home is in the heart of McHenry and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment but tucked away on the water for a quiet, lakefront experience. Each of the 3 levels of this home faces the water, ski slopes, and has magnificent sunsets. When people talk about “Million Dollar Views”; this is it. Even when you are inside it feels like you are still part of the outside. From any level of the house you can go outside, sit and watch the kids play in the water, boats pulling up to the dock, or people skiing down Wisp. Also on the lower level, you can enjoy the hot tub that has amazing lake and mountain views as well.
On the top level there are 2 master suites. The first master suite overlooks the lake and mountain and has its own private balcony. The balcony has two comfortable chairs to help you relax and enjoy your morning coffee. The room has a log king bed and a full-size sofa sleeper. It also has a large master bathroom with a jetted tub and a separate shower. The second master suite also has a king size bed and a day bed that has 2 twin beds. This suite also has a large master bathroom with a jetted tub and a separate shower. The main level of the home has 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed. The room has a bathroom that it shares with the kitchen, living room, and dining room. In the lower level, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with a set of twin bunk beds. These two rooms share a bathroom on the lower level. All the bedrooms (except the bunk room) have new flat screen HD smart TVs with Netflix and cable.
The kitchen has ample counter space and granite countertops. The stove is a 5 burner gas range. The refrigerator has an ice machine and water dispenser built in. There is also a wine refrigerator, large ice maker, and mini refrigerator at the wet-bar on the lower level. The dining room table is a beautiful hard-wood with 10 chairs. There is a large balcony off of the main level. The balcony has a gas grill and outside patio furniture and table. The basement boasts its own theater room with a 7 foot retractable screen with a projector and surround sound system. The theater area includes an Xbox 360 and games for the family. There is Wi-Fi throughout the home.
Outside you will find a brand new 6 person hot tub with 65 jets. The hot tub has amazing views of the lake and mountain. The grassy yard is flat and has plenty of room for all sports. We have even provided a large container filled with sports balls and 6 Adirondack chairs for those that want to watch the sports. There is a community fire-pit 20 feet from the water for those cool fall nights. You will have your own boat slip 50 feet from the back door of the house.

About Angie Tanner
As you can see, we have our hands full with 3 little boys. Our twins just turned 7 years old and are in first grade. Our littlest boy is 4 years old and has just started preschool. Our most important priority is spending time with our family. We are also avid travelers, but since we have had children our travel has become much more limiting. So... we decided to combine our two favorite things and buy a vacation home. This is how Memory Maker started. The kids are young and we want them to have many happy memories at our Log home at Deep Creek Lake. Frank and I are both originally from the PA area and now raise our family in Northern Virginia. Angie has her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University. We are Penn State! Frank has his computer science degrees from Millersville University and West Chester University. Both Frank and Angie received graduate degrees from The Johns Hopkins University. (BK-Before Kids) Frank and Angie loved to travel internationally and domestically, drink awesome wine and visit wineries, hike, enjoy delicious meals, spend time with friends and family, snow ski, read, and relax. (AF-After Kids) Frank and Angie love to spend time with kids, family, and friends, Geocache, hike, boat, water tube, play legos, make bon-fires and messy smores, jump in the lake, and snuggle wiggly children. We hope you and your family and your friends come to our home and make those memories that last a life time. After all, Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away.

Deep Creek Lake is absolutely beautiful in each season and has its own romance and personality. We have looked at homes throughout the lake, but for our busy family we really wanted to stay close to where the action is. We can walk to restaurants. We can walk to Smiley's

What makes this home unique is that it is a huge log townhome directly on the water. The logs throughout the home is beautiful, warm, and cozy. Our home is in the heart of McHenry and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment but tucked away on the water for a quiet, lakefront experience. Each of the 3 levels of this home faces the water, ski slopes, and has magnificent sunsets. When people talk about “Million Dollar Views”; this is it. Even when you are inside it feels like you are still part of the outside. For example, the owner has hand made much of the décor from a cedar tree she had on her property. These unique wooden pieces include an old world map wall hanging, a coffee table, 2 end tables, bear and moose coasters, stump tables, a large scrabble board wall hanging, console table, bear and moose hanging art work, and wooden candelabras. The upper level has 2 master suites each with jetted tubs and separate showers. The waterside master has a private balcony for enjoying that morning cup of coffee. A perfect short or long stay Lake Front Property
A wonderful setting in a very nice location for a peaceful get away or an active week. Many things to do near by and some great dining choices. Favorite things about the home were the Decks with great views, theatre room, hot tub and very spacious kitchen. The to Upstairs bedrooms are very large. Location makes it Easy to get anywhere in the region. Owners are very responsive, helpful and Courteous.
Will look toward a repeat stay!
The condo was very nice, very clean, a great place for our "cousins" reunion. We really enjoyed the theater room. Outdoors we had beautiful scenery to enjoy!
The whole family was impressed with this beautiful home and will consider going back for future reunions. Angie was great to work with and eager to answer all of our questions in a very timely manner. Thanks for everything Angie!

We had a great vacation at Condo #2 located right on the lake. This is our third year at Deep Creek Lake staying at two other home's previously and this was the best! Spacious home is in excellent condition, clean, bedding was very comfortable, ample parking, well landscaped, views and sunsets were awesome!
Kitchen is will supplied with dishes and utensils, outdoor grill w/spare tanks. We rented movies every evening and enjoyed the home theater located in the basement. Great system! The surround sound was awesome! There are 2 bedrooms, a full bath, laundry and a wet bar located in the basement. We used one of the beverage refrigerators on the bar. We enjoyed the kayak and two new paddle boards and we brought along blow-up floats and floated out front of the unit right off the shore. There is grass right down to water and fine gravel base once in the lake. The yard is well manicured. Other folks from the development also have access to the waterfront. But this was not an issue. We trailered our 22ft boat to deep creek and launched at the Deep Creek State Park launch ramps at no charge. Its about a 10-15 minute boat ride to the Docks from the launch ramp. There are more than enough docks available right in fron of the unit. The unit included approx. 8 Adirondack type chairs no need to bring any chairs, the hot tub was clean and well maintained. The only issue was the afternoon sun is very intense. It would have been nice to have a sun shade or umbrella on the 2nd floor balcony and basement patio.
Their are many restaurants grocery store and activities within a mile of the unit. We enjoyed the two go-carts faculties, and visited the Wisp Resort to ride the roller coaster, archery, zip lines, white water rafting. Great Facilities. Pizza and Ice Cream everywhere. My daughter did daily horseback riding at the Circle-R ranch. You need to call and make a reservation. We have been to lwi
Rented for teenage daughters bday celebration. Plenty of space, kids loved to basement and hot tub. Hope to return next year!
Very spacious and lovely home that is well equipped and has a fantastic view.
