This fabulous, split-level townhouse has wonderful mountain, and often waterfall, views. It has a spacious design, is beautifully furnished, and is loaded with amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Upstairs is the main living area including the great room where everyone can gather and have fun time together. There is also plenty of space for quiet time with a good book or even to have a nap.
When you feel like exploring beautiful Kauai, there's certainly lots to see and do . . . go horseback riding and ziplining, catch a bit of sun at one of many gorgeous north shore beaches, tour Limahuli, a National Tropical Botanical Garden, go surfing or wind-surfing, swimming or snorkeling, sport fishing, take a boat tour of Na Pali, kayak Hanalei River, and much more.
From your home away from home, take a short walk to the swimming pool for a refreshing dip or luxuriate in the hot tub. This is a great way to unwind from a busy day on Kauai. The two master suites are air-conditioned although most of the time, you won't need anything but mother nature's trade winds to be comfortable.
Wireless DSL High-Speed Internet Access. TVs in bedrooms. Non-Smoking. 3 BR / 3 BA. Sleeps 6.
We searched and searched for a condo with at least two king size beds and came across this one. Not only did it have two king beds, it had two master suites. Each master suite has a king size bed and a master bath with walk-in showers. One of the these has a Jacuzzi tub, too. There was also a smaller bedroom upon entering the unit with a queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. The washer and dryer in the unit made it especially nice because we didn't have to bring as many clothes and didn't have to find a laundry mat. We could wash our towels and clothes whenever we needed to. It even had laundry soap for us to use instead of bringing our own or buying some at the store. We had a beautiful view of the mountains to the south from the deck. The property is nicely landscaped and manicured. It's very quiet in the complex as its a gated community. No outside noise, no car traffic, nothing. Just peace and quiet; well, except for the local flock(s) of chickens. The roosters crowed quite a bit, but I'm a country boy, so it brought back a lot of memories working on the farm. Just a note about the chickens, no matter where you stay on Kauai, there will be chickens, and the roosters will be crowing. They should be the State Bird. The pool and hot tub at the club house was nice, too. We went there almost every day or evening to unwind and to meet some of the other renters and some of the full time residents. This was a perfect location for us. It's a short drive to the beaches on the north shore to swim, relax, and enjoy the sunsets; and, the Makai golf course is only about a quarter mile or less from the complex. We'd get up and go for walk in the mornings and head north and west down towards the St. Regis. The golf course is beautiful and as always found on the islands, flowers everywhere. The walking paths are well marked and it's very safe. I've provided this VRBO number and the Kauai Rental property link to several friends and recommended they attempt to use this location for their upcoming trips. Definitely one of the nicer VRBO rentals we stayed out. We'll definitely be back...
