Ohana Hale is a charming two bedroom, two bath ground floor condominium suite. Each bedroom has one full bathroom and its own private entrance to the pool. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit. Every King bed can be reconfigured in to two twin beds. Each bedroom has two beach towels and each bathroom has two bath towels, two hand towels and two face towels. One initial set of travel size Aveda shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion are provided in each bathroom. The dining room seats six and shares an open floor plan with the large living room. Guests can relax on the private garden lanai surrounded by tropical landscaping. A fully equipped kitchen with bar seating for four includes stainless steel appliances, glassware, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, baking trays, drip coffee maker, toaster, instant hot water boiler, rice cooker, blender, salt, pepper and aluminum foil. Enjoy the conveniences of laundry in the suite with a stackable washer and dryer.
Ohana Hale guests have access to the Wailea Inn communal yoga studio, heated pool, jacuzzi, poolside bbq gas grill, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys.

Owner Gal Cohen was born and raised in Israel. His diverse career includes the Real Estate Development, Construction, Landscape & Design, Consulting and Property Management Industries. Gal Cohen is the founder of Cohen Development Group, a real estate investment company active across Maui in the development, ownership and operation of luxury residential and commercial properties. Gal has mastered the art of modern and contemporary design and construction that compliments the existing environment. His signature earthy, contemporary and eclectic style can be identified in each of his projects, ranging from oceanfront residential homes to the renovation of Lumeria Maui, a historic luxury retreat and educational center, and the remodel of Wailea Inn. In partnership with Xorin Balbes, Gal purchased and remodeled Wailea Inn in 2013. An avid traveler, Gal wanted to create an accommodation that combined his memorable stays from all around the world. The result being Wailea Inn – a combination of comfort, luxury and tropical landscape all with convenient access to daily surf sessions and the Maui sunsets. Outside his passion for work, he enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, stand-up paddling, traveling and practicing yoga. Owner Xorin Balbes is an award winning architectural conservator, lauded designer, and philanthropist, Xorin Balbes discovered his passion and vision for the design and re-design process while renovating his first home in Santa Barbara. He is founder of TempleHome, an award winning architecture and design firm recognized nationally for conservation and a holistic approach to design that nourishes the soul and harbors an impressive high-profile celebrity client list. Xorin’s impressive succession of re-designs and renovations encouraged him to develop his own philosophy for home design entitled, SoulSpace. The process was born out of Xorin’s discovery of a deeper purpose and meaning in his life.

You’ll find plenty of thoughtful touches such as the complimentary Maui grown coffee and chocolate covered macadamia nuts in each kitchen. The Property Manager greets guests upon check-in to deliver keys, lead a brief property tour and answer any questions. Excellent property in an excellent location
Stayed at the Ohana Hale for 10 days and had an excellent time. The Inn is in a great location for Charlie Young Beach, the various Kamaole beaches, Kalama Beach Park and the Cove, with a couple of small beaches in between just a few steps away from the front gate of the house. The place has a really nice relaxed vibe and felt modern and clean compared to some of the older condos we’d been looking at on VRBO. Furniture and décor was all really nice and well placed. It was worth the extra $$$. We had our Kona coffee every morning while exploring the smaller beaches found directly over the street from the house and took in the amazing sunsets there every night. Most days were spent at Charlie Young beach at the end of the street. The Inn is very easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and it’s a quick drive down to Wailea for more upmarket shopping/dining. Checking in and out was easy and hassle-free. We stayed with our young family and everything was as promised when we arrived with a high chair and crib set up for us, and the property manager was quick to provide us with a couple of minor things we asked for to get us up and running in the kitchen. There could be a few more plates and kitchen supplies but not a big deal. We hired a toy box from a local company ($25 for a week) and there were chairs, pool toys, buckets and spades, body boards etc for the kids to use at the beach, which we did every day. The pool and BBQ area were also a big hit and a real sun trap during the day. There are a few options around the grounds to shower off feet and legs to keep the house free of sand and we saw gardeners around a couple of times keeping everything looking nice. Everything seemed well maintained around the house and grounds and we had no complaints whatsoever. The great accommodation and great location made for a great family vacation.
Amazing place to stay
Wonderful location, when they say steps to the beach they mean it. We had a terrific vacation staying here. Great location as we could walk to the stores and restaurants. Great yoga room for our group of 12 people. We are going to book again next year.
A perfectly located 2 bed/2bath unit within a luxury vacation villa that has four separate units all under one roof. Relax where everything is conveniently located steps away- literally. You can walk to the beach across the street, go surfing and stand up paddle boarding at the Cove Beach Park and Charley Young Beach, go snorkeling, whale watching, shopping, and dine at nearby restaurants and bars. There's a large playground, skate park, outdoor roller skating rink , tennis courts, running paths and batting cages within a five minute walk from the property. Bike and scooter rentals, spa treatments and farmer's markets are right around the corner. Enjoy the private heated pool, jacuzzi, indoor yoga studio and outdoor tropical yoga deck all on the gated property... take 50 more steps to get your toes in the sand.

Parking We offer free on-site gated parking for one vehicle per condominium suite. All other vehicles must park on the street in front of the property. _______________________________________________________ Check-in Check-in time is 4 pm. Based on your planned arrival time, the Property Manager will greet you upon check-in and give you the keys. Upon check-in, please allow five to 10 minutes for a brief property walk-through to answer any questions and to verify the condition of the property. Late arrivals can access the keys in each suite’s lock box located next to the front door. The gate code is provided in each reservation’s Welcome Forms _______________________________________________________ Check-out Check-out time is 11am. All unapproved check-outs after 11am will be subject to a holdover charge. We require a walk-through of each condominium suite with you and our Property Manager to verify that the property is in the same condition as when you checked in. Guest will be accountable for any excess damage or cleaning. Any resulting charges will be deducted from your security deposit. _______________________________________________________ Check out Procedures: Close all windows and lock all doors. Put all perishables and food items in the refrigerator or dispose of it. Place all trash in the “Aloha Waste” trash dumpster located by the front gate. Leave both sets of keys and gate openers on the kitchen counter. _______________________________________________________ Welcome Forms All Welcome Forms must be signed and emailed back 60 days prior to arrival date to guarantee requested bed configurations and baby equipment. If our Reservations Manager does not receive the Welcome Forms 60 days prior to arrival, all beds will be arranged as king beds instead of the optional twin beds.
