The wet bar in the game room, equipped with a freezer to get those drinks cold fast and an ice machine, is a great place to hang out in the evenings and have fun. The master bedroom has a great view of the lake with French door access to the deck, hot tub and back yard. In the master bath, you can take a soak in the slipper tub or a shower in the ceramic tile shower. Everyone can find something they will love at this lake house. Two night minimum. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by, so it is absolutely necessary to have quiet time starting at 10pm. This is NOT the house for you if you are looking for a place to have a loud late night party. If you will be partying as responsible adults then we would love to have you stay with us!

A Lake House for All Seasons
average rating of 3.9444444 based on 18 reviews

This place is older and a little run down on the outside however the pier and views are great!

  • 4 of 5

We toured the lake looking at many properties in hopes of potentially purchasing and this house was in a nice deep party of a cove which was great for our kids and labradoodles to swim and tube! The pool table was also a hit! Thanks for sharing your lake house!

Almost perfect

  • 5 of 5

Clean house with more space than we needed. Very nice and helpful property manager. Just a few minor inconveniences: no can opener or vegetable peeler in the kitchen; alarm system kept beeping (owner tried but couldn't make it stop; we got used to it); community rules require doing a walkthrough with the property manager upon arrival (can't just get the code and show up whenever). Would rent again!

Horrible experience and owner

  • 1 of 5

Twenty of us were really excited for our stay at this place, we all drove 3 hours and a half one way there. When we arrived, we noticed there were dog poop everywhere in the backyard which was disappointing. We noticed that the hot tub was filthy which was upsetting for us as our main reason for picking this cabin was to have a hot tub. On Saturday, several of us wanted to swim at the lake and one of us walked on the diving board and it immediately broke without him jumping on it and he fell in the water and the board hit his head. He was injuried and had a bad migraine all day. We found out that it was badly rusted and this should have been checked by the owner. Then on New Year's Eve, the sewage broke and the whole cabin smelled so bad. We were disgusted by the smell. We contacted both property manager and the owner and the owner promised we would get some of our money back after all we experienced there. It has been a week and I texted the owner several times asking about when we would get some of our money back but he has ignored me. This is disappointing because not only we experienced so many problems there, the owner lied about giving us our money back. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I wish I could but I would not.

Owner's Response: I truly wish that this poor experience did not happen for Rebecca. While some of the issues were beyond my control, I always hope for a great experience for my guests. My property manager and I take great care and caution to ensure a fun and safe stay for all guests. We have successfully hosted many satisfied guests at this house and will contine to do so. If you scroll down a little you will read some glowing reviews. What a wonderful home to spend a relaxing few days in! Mike, homeowner

Awesome stay, great dock, great Lake, calm waters

  • 5 of 5

Seriously you can't ask for better. If you have a large group this is perfect. Seriously awesome waters, jumping off the dock is a good time. These guys were awesome and helpful.

Also, don't expect wifi here, you seriously won't need it anyway... Great times!

Great lake access, poor upkeep on the house and dock

  • 2 of 5

Pros: lake access was awesome, the seperation of the bar/game room from the house was great

Cons: the rain gutters were more like plantters! The air filters were so filthy they looked like they had not been replaced in months, FLIES were everywhere outside qround the patio - we ended up finding fish over th deck in the bushes thatvwas attracting them, no trash can in the bathrooms was an inconvenience, advertised that they supplied papertowels and toilet paper- thank goodness we brought the to, the slide is not bolted down and we didnt notice this until my teens went down it - very dangerous!!! The house was not clean when we got there, the blue toothe speakers only work in the livingroom, not everywhere as advertised.

Suggestions: for the amount of money the TVs should be updated, the fridge and freezer as well as the rest of the house should be detail cleaned before the next guest. The dock should have waterhose access for fiah cleaning. Repair the slide, upper dock dexk railing and pound in all the nails that are sticking up.

I will use home away again, just was not impressed with this home.

Good Property for Family Get-Togethers

  • 4 of 5

We had 9 adults and 5 children and it was plenty of room for everyone. The house is in a great location on the lake, the drive in is pretty gloomy, but once you go to the lakeside of the house, you are have a totally different impression. The boat house is awesome and one of the main reasons for renting this property, we had two boats tied up, which there was plenty of space and the slide and diving board made for hours of fun for the kids. The game room also was a good source of entertainment for everyone. A couple of small things could be done to make the house more enjoyable. There is no dining table, however there is clearly space for one and there are no chairs in the house. We had to bring in lawn chairs to sit in to eat. There is a small poker table and bar in the game room, but it would be nice to all be able to sit together at meals closer to the kitchen itself. Also, the lawn table and chairs were in desperate need of improvement. The inside of the home is nice and clean and stocked well, but the outside could use some good old fashion cleaning.(weeds growing out of the gutters and walls covered in cob webs) The hot tub also has issues, however being summer no one in our crew was all that unhappy about that! Overall the experience for our family was good and would recommend the property based on its lake location.
