My name is Neil Shannon. I moved to Edinburgh in 1993 to study at the University Of Edinburgh. I met my wife & spent 13 wonderful years living and working in the city. We have a great knowledge of Scotland gained through our love for travel.

We bought our vacation rentals in Dalry Gait because as a resident in Edinburgh we found this area was perfect for exploring the city. You have easy access to the city centre by foot and all its attractions are on your doorstep, while you are still only a 3 min walk from the train station which opens up the whole of Scotland for you to explore. Why not hire a car - well we have private parking which is a must in this capital city.

All in all, my modern city centre apartments provide everything you need for your stay in Edinburgh.

Placed in the heart of the city centre, in this quiet cul-du-cac you will find it difficult to belive you are in the bustling centre of Scotlands Captial, Edinburgh. With off street private parking, located 3mins from the trainstation and easy access to the airport - Dalry Gait is the perfect location for you stay.

There is nothing more you could wish for to make this the perfect holiday destination - I should know, I book in for 2 weeks every year!!!!!

Neil was quick to respond to questions I had, and was able to accommodate a fairly late check in. The reasonably central location meant we could walk to the station in 10-15 mins. The flat was perfectly sized for our group of 5 and could have comfortably dealt with 2-3 more. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and in working order with the kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils. Wifi was quick and reliable and the parking space (with permit) behind the building was an added bonus.

The apartment was amazing.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was wonderful. It is so spacious, close to the grocery stores and restaurants, especially Mia's. Two balconies, which no other apartments have. We loved our 5 night stay. The one night we cooked dinner was so much fun. Being able to make coffee and tea everyday was great but bring instant coffee. A regular coffee pot would have been a nice added feature but we did fine.

I think adding more light over the kitchen table would be my only complaint.

The four of us will come back and stay here again.
