Or drive 45 minutes north, and visit Estes Park which is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. About Rea Wrobel

My husband, Jeff, and I live in the area and have 2 young kids. I work full time as a plant ecologist and botanist and Jeff is a stone mason and artist. We love living in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains where we have prairie grasslands ecosystems all the way up to alpine tundra in a distance of only nine miles. We loving hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and being outdoors. We are here to help you enjoy your stay, just give us a call or text if you have any questions.

Rea Wrobel purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Rea Wrobel chose Front Range

We purchased this property in January 2014 and completely remodeled it with high-end custom finishes. We fell in love with the cabin's location (at the end of a road) and the privacy it offers as well as the small stream in the backyard.

What makes this cabin unique

Moon Creek Cabin is very private, yet only a short drive to nearby towns Rollinsville and Nederland and the big city of Denver. You will be surrounded by nature and have access to great hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling or ATVing right from the doorstep. There is a small perennial stream in the backyard. We are also a short drive from Eldora Ski Resort. The cabin is very secluded and there are no neighbors. If you are looking for privacy in a beautiful forested mountain setting, this is the place!

Great Get Away

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at Moon Creek Cabin. The area is just beautiful, feels secluded but not far from anything we needed. We enjoyed the humming birds, the cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place with us, we will be back. Jackie & Terry

Clean well equiped cabin in great location

The two of us loved staying in this delightful cabin. The hike up the jeep trail into the national forest was one of our favorites as it opens up to magnificent views and a cascading stream.

Moon Creek Cabin was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was in the woods surounded by the mountains with a stream in the back. It was beautiful, secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck and listening to the stream and the birds. The fire pit was great in the evening for s'mores. The house was very comfortable and clean. Everything from dishsoap, shampoo, and laundry soad to spices and condements were provided. We felt very at home and loved staying here.

Even with 2 fresh feet of May snow our family had a blast. Great to get away from the bustle of it all and be surrounded by forest and quietness. Would recommend.
