The condo is a very bright and airy space and comes complete with amenities you may need such as towels, bedding, hair dryer, beach towels, ceiling fans and air conditioning. The interior was appointed for relaxation and comfort.
The fully equipped kitchen includes toaster, six burner stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, kitchen utensils, dishwasher and more! The master bedroom has a king size bed with bedside tables, dresser.
The cozy and comfortable living room consists of two sofas with trundles under each. These sleep four small guests comfortably, though I would not recommend the trundles for adults.

If beach-combing and sun-catching ever becomes too much, there is a flat screen TV with DVD. We have also provided board games, as well as a modest library for your entertainment.
While you are welcome to use the air conditioning, we have provided fans in the living room, and bedrooms to keep you cool and comfortable throughout the day and night.
This bright and spacious condo is located in Nautica, a small complex of about 30 units. This Ixtapa vacation rental is intimately tucked away from the noisy hotel district. Traffic and nightlife noises will not spoil your serenity here.
The tropical grounds of this residential condominium complex are gated and protected by 24 hour security. It features a swimming pool, a separate children's pool, swim-up snack bar, loungers, umbrellas and wireless internet.
The grounds are quiet and the pool is a great spot to float and read. The pool area is never crowded, is quiet and perfect for relaxing in the sun. There is also plenty of shade and lounge chairs if you prefer.
The condo is an easy walk to a variety of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and grocery store in downtown Ixtapa. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach. You can visit any of the hotels that are not all-inclusive, have lunch, enjoy the pool, beach and ocean for the day.
On the way, you might pass an iguana sunning itself and songbirds tucked in the palm and coconut trees. It's a 10-minute walk to Ixtapa's main beach, 'El Palmar'. Nautica is also situated between both of Ixtapa's golf courses.
The pool area offers:
Shallow wading pool
Landscaped sun gardens
Covered barbecue area
The condo development is quiet and at the same time close to where the action. It is located .5 mile away from 'El Palmar' beach, shopping and many restaurants and bars. It is also just minutes away from the Magic World Water Park.
Public transportation is available to take you to Zihuatanejo. There are also rental car companies available. These are all within the same 5-block walk.
You are a 15 minute taxi ride to Zihuatanejo or you can jump on the local bus in front of the complex, where there are many other activities, shopping, world-class fishing charters and sunset dinners on beautiful Zihuatanejo Bay.
There is a reason why Ixtapa is called the “Jewel of the Pacific.” Ixtapa's winter is a series of warm and sunny days. Gorgeous, sun-kissed Ixtapa boasts, on average, 300 sunny days each year. Temperatures in this semi-tropical climate range from 70 to 92 degrees Fahrenheit year round;

Virtually everything in Ixtapa is within walking distance. Boutiques, most restaurants and the arts and crafts market are located on one side of the main boulevard, Paseo Ixtapa. Although a car is great to have if you want to explore outside of Ixtapa, a car is not a necessity since you can walk anywhere in Ixtapa from Nautica. There are also two bikes available for guests to use.
Along with its miles of golden beaches, Ixtapa also offers two world-class golf courses. Renowned golf course designer Robert Trent Jones created a visionary course layout carved into the surrounding jungle foliage and coconut plantation to create Campo de Golf Ixtapa. This 18-hole course doubles as a local wildlife preserve so you might spot parakeets, parrots or even an eagle diving for fish. Rolling hills, lagoons, jungle foliage and sandy shoreline provide diverse challenges.
Club de Golf Marina Ixtapa features wide saltwater inlets, undulating greens and plenty of bunkers. This course, designed by Robert von Hagge, is a crocodile habitat so golfers should take caution retrieving balls from the inlets and lagoons! Golf Digest rated this course as one of Mexico's best courses.
Ixtapa has a wide variety of great restaurants and cafes to choose from and boutiques and souvenir shops to browse through.
Two adventure parks offer rappelling, zip-lining, rafting and hiking.
A bike path runs from the north end of Zihuatanejo and runs the entire length of Ixtapa, winds through a wooded area and ends at Playa Linda. This bicycle path is great for cycling and jogging.
Stop at Playa Linda to see the crocodile pit to see crocodiles, iguanas, turtles and tropical birds at the mangrove swamp. At Playa Linda, you can take a water taxi to Ixtapa Island to ocean kayaking and snorkel at a coral reef.
Playa Quieta, located six miles from Ixtapa, features snorkeling, sailing and windsurfing.
Get up close and personal with bottle-nose dolphins for an unforgettable swim with the dolphins experience. Delfiniti, Ixtapa’s aquarium, offers several programs for adults and children.
Kids and parents alike will enjoy waterslides, rides, a wave pool, lazy river and pirate ship at Magic World Aquatic Park.
Zihuatanejo is just 5.5 miles from Ixtapa. Taxis and public transportation are available. If you decide to visit Zihuatanejo, you'll find this quaint fishing town has the old-fashioned charm of traditional Mexican culture and offers tourists lots of shops, boutiques, art galleries and fine dining. Zihuatanejo is a unique town with a gorgeous bay, warm beaches and exclusive boutiques. Walk stone-paved streets at Paseo del Pescador to browse boutiques offering a wide variety of silver, crafts and beachwear.
Ixtapa is ranked as a 'Top 10' sports fishing destination that offers year-round fishing, both offshore and inshore. Sailfish, averaging 75 to 100 pounds, are caught almost year-round offshore. May through January brings blue and black marlin. November through January is dorado (mahi-mahi) season. Yellow-knife tuna, some weighing up to 300 pounds, are most abundant from November through June. Roosterfish, grouper, barracuda, chula, bonito, Spanish mackerel and wahoo can be found closer to shore and in the lagoons.
Ixtapa, along with Zihuatanejo, is a preferred fishing destination that offers great diversity and an abundance of fish. These same conditions make this region an amazing scuba diving location. On land, Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo are a bird-watcher's delight. There are more than 320 species of birds recorded in the region, representing at least one third of all recorded bird species in Mexico.
In Ixtapa you get modern amenities alongside old-world charm. Ixtapa is a planned beach resort that was constructed in the 1970s on a coconut plantation and mangrove estuary. Because of the relative newness of this coast resort town, you don't run into many of the troubles that plaque older Mexican destination towns. Ixtapa remains quiet and peaceful despite its popularity. There is no comparison to other Mexican coastal regions.
While you're relaxing by the pool, walking on beach, or dining out, you'll want to take in one of those amazing and unforgettable Ixtapa sunsets during your stay here.

Scott and I live 45 minutes outside Chicago, on the southernmost tip of Lake Michigan. It gets COLD in the winter!
Jeannine Virtue purchased this condo in 2012
This condo has been in the family for many years. In 2012 I took over management of the condo and decided for the 2015 season to share this great space with others. I hope you all enjoy this space as much as we have!
You can avoid the hustle and noise of the busy hotel zone and enjoy the calm and privacy this condo offers, while still being a short walk from everything Ixtapa has to offer. It is perfect for long-term stays.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The condo was perfect for the 6 of us. It was perfectly located for endless adventures and fun. The condo owner went above and beyond to be helpful before and during our stay. Ixtapa and Zihu are absolutely beautiful. Easy to get around on bikes, bus or taxi. Reuben's Burgers is a must eat as is Las Papas Locas in Zihu. We highly recommend staying in this cond :)
I am not a resort type of person so this condo was totally my style. The location was great, the host was so helpful and fun and the accommodations were absolutely delightful. Beds were comfortable and I was pleased with the condition of the unit. The kitchen was equipped and there was also a washer. I loved the courtyard pool and I especially loved how safe I felt. As a single female traveler, that is always a high priority. I walked everywhere, but buses and taxis were easily available within a couple of blocks. !Gracias Jeannine for a great stay!
This was a very nice place to stay when visiting Ixtapa. It is about a 20 minute walk to the public beach and 10 minute walk to shopping/eating area. The staff at the condo was very friendly and did an excellent job of maintaining the grounds and swimming pool.
The condo itself was roomy and fairly comfortable. The smaller bedroom did not have AC so our teenager slept on the sofa in the living room.
The owner was very responsive and friendly and the onsite manager made a point to check in almost daily to see if we had any questions or needs.
Definitely recommend to others.
We had an excellent stay at Nautica. The condo is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped, though we didn't do much cooking. There were just too many great restaurants nearby. Balcony had a view of the pool and courtyard area. A bonus was the covered parking space. To enter property by car, you must use a remote or have staff open the gate. Very secure. Plus they have 24-hour staff security. I highly recommend this condo.
This condo is exactly as portrayed online. The location is good, the condo is bright and cheery and complex itself is secure and well maintained. The owner was excellent at answering all of my questions and she went above and beyond with providing information on where to go and what to do. We have been to a number of Mexican destinations and Ixtapa is our new favorite. It's just the right mix of tourist area/local flavor. It has not been ruined like Cancun and Cozumel were. We plan to return to Ixtapa next winter and I truly hope this property is available again.
The pictures looked great and the reviews were good so I booked, despite being worried that the price seemed a little low. I am glad I did! The place was clean and spacious and I loved the location. Jeannine was very helpful and accommodating for our stay in Ixtapa. When I arrived her manager Mark was there to greet me and give directions to the market, restaurants and a coffee shop. He was extremely helpful and kind. All in all a great stay. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Ixtapa.
