Charming, adorable, and oh so well equipped

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in Cindy and Kermit's adorable airstream was so much fun! They've renovated it to make a bigger bed and installed a full size toilet and TV. We were in town for a wedding and weren't sure what to expect, but the area they've set up for their guests is super well appointed: we had such a lovely stay there. Make sure to take advantage if you're in the area! Cindy even let us pet her goats and made us cookies with eggs from their chickens, just the best.

Well-kept, charming alternative to a traditional hotel or home.

  • 4 of 5

We made the airstream our home for one night when we planned a last minute trip to Paso for Labor Day weekend. Our hosts were inviting but not intrusive, and allowed us to pet their family goats which was fun. The Airstream itself is situated in a larger, carport like area immediately adjacent to the family's home. From the photos online, I will admit that I thought that the Airstream would be on a more remote location of the property, but it's right there. Views from the elevated patio in front of it are nice. The interior is very well-kept, nice touches like complimentary bottled water, fruit and cookies were appreciated. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the shower was practically unusable. Again, all good for the one night stay, but I'm not sure we would do more than 1-2 in the future. Thanks to the hosts for creating a unique experience for their guests!

Great experience!

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our weekend in the Airstream. My husband has always wanted to own one and has a fascination with "tiny houses". He got the experience this weekend. The Airstream is small but mighty--having everything you need for a delightful weekend. Kermit and Cindy couldn't be more warm and welcoming. They are conveniently located by the airport, Vina Robles amphitheater (we saw Jackson Browne) and the war and car museum (a fun alternative to wine tasting for a few hours!).

Well-kept secret

  • 5 of 5

I am hesitant to leave a review because I want to make sure this is available next time we need it. We could not find any hotels due to a couple of festivals taking place in Paso that weekend, so we booked the Airstream. We were totally satisfied with the stay. The Airstream is really kept up nicely, it's clean, has everything you need in it, and most importantly for us, with the temperature approaching 100 that weekend, the air conditioning worked great. Great experience all around.

Oh yeah, I left my phone charger behind and received an email from the hosts the next day asking for my mailing address so they could send it. A really nice gesture.
