High tech apartment. Excellent value. Definitely will stay again.
Very spacious, good and quiet location.
We had a little difficulty figuring out the heating system. The washer dryer was one unit. The dryer part didn’t work. The owner, Silvio, was very responsive to our needs. He left a booklet with dining recommendations and as well as info on bus and trolley.
We shared the apartment with two of our adult children... found it to be very comfortable. We were in Rome for another daughters wedding and had her pre-wedding photos taken there. Large windows and high ceilings framed our Bella spousa beautifully. The Sistine chapel apartment will always be a special memory for us.
Thanks for your review. I have to confirm that the drier does work...
There is no issue with it
My husband, son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons, 7 and 4 1/2 and I loved our stay in Rome due to all the history and sights, but also because of our incredible accommodations! We loved our location, the offerings around the apartment, safety, convenience, cleanliness and comfort! We couldn't have asked for anything more! We highly recommend this incredible accommodation--a home away from home!!
The apartment is clean, easy access, great location, and nicely appointed.
Silvio makes arrival so easy and explains everything very well. He is always available for any questions.
Quite the Find!
Borgo is my favorite of all the fabulous boroughs of Rome, and Borgo Pio is my favorite street. My husband and I stumbled across this magical little street last October and immediately fell in love with it. Like many of the streets in Rome, the mornings here are quiet, but at night the street comes to life with beautiful smells and sounds. The food is fabulous and there is truly music in the air. I find myself relaxing into the pace of renewal without any effort. While the access to all of Rome is so easy from here, I could be very content to spend my entire holiday on this street. Silvio and his team are wonderful. Our ride was awaiting us outside of customs and took us right to the door of the property. Our host met us there and gave us a thorough orientation of the property. There are four rather large rooms and two modern bathrooms with nice sized showers. The water temperature was great and the water pressure was especially good compared to other experiences we have had in Europe. One note here - Silvio has provided lots of VERY helpful information in his handbook. Read it. There are a lot of shops on Borgo Pio that have fruit, vegetables, beverages and other items. (We became quite fond of the man who runs the little store just next door and he was very helpful and willing to direct us to other stores when we needed something he did not have.) To get toilet paper and paper towels, you will need to go around the corner -and as you are provided with enough TP to get you through a few days, you will want to either bring a few rolls with you or be prepared to make that purchase. I also always take a sponge with me to VRBO properties, for washing dishes and I was glad I had one with me here. We did not cook while we were here (so much great food all around you), but the appliances are modern and look easy to use. While there is a washer that is easy to use, there is no dryer. There is a great drying rack, and since I use one at home, this was very easy for me. We simply made sure we planned to accommodate drying time. I don't watch much TV when I travel, but one of the people in our group had a home directly in the path of Hurricane Irma and was able to get plenty of news regarding the progress of the storm. We felt very safe in this property and were extremely comfortable. We will return to this property many times. I simply cannot say enough about it. It is very easy to see that Silvio has made investments in it for his guests. We are grateful
Nice apartment! Enjoyed our stay
This apartment was in a great location. It was comfortable for our time in Rome. The little markets right outside the door was very nice to have dinner in the evening. Walking to the Vatican was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay!
Borgo Pio is a stunning street near the Vatican, it is a pedestrian street as well, full of restaurants, bars and nice places. this is by far the nicest street in the whole Vatican area! you will love it
