Our condo is newly furnished, painted, and flooring is new and eco friendly (no Formaldahyde)...laminate and tile.

The view is OUTSTANDING...to the East..the Saddleback Mountain Range....panoramic views are very rare in Laguna Woods. Just bring your suitcase and groceries, and you have all you need for a relaxing and fun vacation. We are located in a quiet area, at prestigious Gate 14. Our Condo is completely and beautifully furnished and equipped, to make your stay comfortable, convenient, and relaxing.

The East facing patio, living room and dining rooms offer magnificent views, sunrises, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is on the ground level for leisurely walks on the grass at the back, no stairs. The sofa and loveseat offer 4 reclining seats for your total relaxation. There is a formal dining room, with additional kitchen dining space. All rooms are light and bright. There are 2 baths and 2 bedrooms: one with a king sized bed, and one with a queen. The master bath has double sinks and a walk-in shower....also a rarity in Laguna Woods. The covered Patio is a wonderful spot for your morning cup of coffee.... sunrise included for free....if you are up early enough. And, offers a romantic spot for your evening dining or relaxation.

The Kitchen contains everything you need to make in-home meals a breeze. And, there are ample dishes, cookware, glasses, flatware and linens....not just a setting for 4.

Relax, socialize, read or watch TV in the contemporarily furnished living room, designed for serious comfort. For your pleasure, the living room has a 48” LED flat screen smart TV with cable included (bring your Roku or Firestick if you have them), and a DVD player....also a large DVD library. The Master bedroom has a 40" flat screen TV and DVD player. The guest bedroom also has it's own large flat screen TV.

The dining room has comfortable seating for six.....more if you are creative.

We also have a book library, which includes cookbooks, reference, fiction and non-fiction.

You have a designated carport within approximately 40 feet, and the mail box and laundry are right outside your door, not a block away, as in many of the units in Laguna Woods.

Laguna Woods Village (formally Leisure World) is one of the premier 55+ age-restricted gated communities for the active lifestyle. It is located on 2,100 acres of rolling hillsides just minutes from the Laguna Beach coastline.....a short, beautiful 5.5 mile trip through Laguna Canyon.

Residents enjoy special interest activities including 2 fitness centers, 5 swimming pools, 27 holes of championship golf, and 18 holes of executive golf, tennis, yoga, lawn bowling, table tennis, shuffleboard, bridge, photography lab/darkrooms, arts and crafts, a computer-learning center, equestrian center with horses available to residents, an 814 seat performing arts center, and a choice of more than 100 Saddleback College Emeritus courses. LAGUNA WOODS IS A 'NO SMOKING' COMMUNITY. SMOKING ALLOWED IN RESTRICTED LOCATIONS, BUT NOT IN BUILDINGS.

There is a $170 fee, paid to the HOA, to do the documentation, permitting, and to process your photo IDs. Please ask us for a link or a copy of the "HOA Rental Policy". This document must be completed by you, and by me, and mailed to the HOA, at least a month prior to your arrival, allowing the HOA the time they need to approve you as residents in our community. Be sure to call us about all this: 3 03- 809 - 01 19.

We will email you a copy of our personal "Lease", which you will need to complete, sign, and send to us, when your deposit is made.

Expedia also rents hotel rooms, and daily rentals. This is our home, thus a lease is required.....and it rents for a longer period of time than a hotel room.

In case you can not see the owner's monthy rental rate chart, see the breakdown below. The DAILY rental rate that VRBO posts, is not always accurate...it averages all months. These are my monthly rates:

I moved to Anaheim after 6th grade....it was a paradise to me with fruit and flowers in the winter, and NO SNOW. Disneyland was visible at all times, and the people were very friendly. California still has the best climate in the country, and is an innately beautiful place to be.

I went to College at Cal Poly, and moved to Colorado in 1970 { unfortunately, I was back to snow again :-( }

I had visited Laguna Woods 4 times previously, but never found the 'right' unit for me. Then I saw this unit in October 2013, and had to have it. I bought it, repainted it, put in new flooring, took out the horrible old light fixtures, appliances, and shower doors, and furnished and equipped it for myself. If you are anything like me, you will love it.

I LIKE TO GET TO KNOW MY RENTERS, AND SOME HAVE BECOME LIFELONG FRIENDS. I WILL NOT RENT TO SOMEONE I DON'T TALK TO FIRST, AND UNFORTUNATELY, I ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH.

Just look at my unit, the area, the community amenities....what else could you ask for. You will also have wonderful neighbors, and you will have me as your landlord. Can't get any better than that!

What makes this condo unique

It is beautiful, newly remodeled, has a beautiful view, close parking, close laundry facilities, and is all inclusive. Just bring your clothes, stop at the grocery store (1 mile away) for your food and drinks, and drive to your private oasis in the hills.

It is so totally wrong and seemingly spiteful. My Husband's and my stay at this condo was delightful. The person that posted the negative review must be suffering some serious problems, which should NOT be taken out on another person. Especially someone so caring a helpful as Ann.

She has a beautiful, clean, and updated condo, which is tastefully decorated. She has provided an abundance of household and kitchen tools to make your stay wonderful, comfortable, and totally set up for someone who likes to cook, relax, and entertain....while enjoying a beautiful view, and peaceful environment.

This place is a must see!

This condo was perfect for my husband and myself! So cozy, clean, and spacious! Super location. Great neighbors! Owner went over and above to accommodate our needs. The ground level unit was so handy for us. View was Spectacular!! We would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a vacation getaway!

Loved this condo, and Laguna Woods

I had a wonderful stay in Ann's condo. I saw the negative comment made by a previous tenant, and I don't understand what the issue was. The interior was bright, modern, and spacious with new paint and floor coverings, and mostly new furniture and appliances. I found the community to be very active, full of friendly people, all there to have a good time. The condo is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. Ann was very easy to work with and very responsive to all my questions and needs. I have already reserved a 3-month stay for 2016.

Would not recommend

Very nice view, however the condo is very dark, the bedroom is next to the laundry room, elevator, main walkway, and trash. The community in general is very old and the condo has an old smell as well. It was not a very pleasant experience.

Owner's Response: This review was given by a single woman, Kristy L., that signed a lease for 2 months, and after 2 weeks wanted to break her lease. As you can see from my pictures, and the Laguna Woods website, this community is not old and tired, but well kept, fun, and vibrant. I believe my building was built in the late 1980's. It is on the main floor, and convenient to the laundry, carport, mail, etc., which is one of its assets. A person can't hear the washer and dryer, or the elevator for the upper floors, from my unit. In renting out my homes to vacationers since 1993, this woman is the only person that has ever posted a complaint about me or my homes. Everyone else that has stayed in my condo has loved it. It has all new white paint, new flooring, mostly new appliances and furniture, and is certainly not musty or dark inside, as she stated. I think you can see this when looking at the pictures I have posted. If you have any questions, you may call or write to me. Ann

PLEASE NOTE: Often the estimated cost to stay, stated by VRBO is incorrect....contact the owner, if the rates listed are not clear. THERE IS A 2 MONTH MINIMUM STAY as required by the HOA. On the rate chart, above, this system only allows a 30 maximum stay to be entered for February March and April, but the rules state a minimum 2 month rental....I cannot get this system to enter the 60 days on it.
The community fee payable to 'Golden Rain Foundation' is $170 (1 time fee per lease period) effective Sept 2017-but this is subject to change & out of our control. If you cause a repair/break, you pay for it.
Pet deposit may be refunded...pet must be approved by owner. NO CATS.
The tenant must pay the amount of the electric bill to the Owner. Owner will pay the electric company, and Tenant will reimburse the Owner, per the electric bill. If tenant doesn't reimburse owner with a check, the cost of the electric bills will be deducted from the Security Deposit. Owner will provide copies of electric bills to renter.
Wireless internet and cable TV are provided by the owner.
We do not allow lease cancellations, unless the renter has a letter from their doctor, that proves to us, that they are incapable of fulfilling their lease commitment, and why.
If the renter has to break their lease, and we can find a suitable renter to lease for the remaining period, we will allow the lease to be broken.
