If you are looking for a retreat to enjoy the out-of-doors and hear the rooster crow in the morning in a rural farm setting, Hill Top Farm may be your answer. At the head of the Hiawatha Valley it offers immediate access to a wide array of activities. Located on the Mississippi’s limestone bluff, 5 minutes from a boat launch you have access to the headwaters of Lake Pepin and its small river towns, each with its own attractions and personality. There is much to see: history museums, antique stores, YMCA, eateries, live theater, art displays, fall foliage, bald eagle and migratory water bird watching, trout streams and the Cannon Valley Trail for biking or walking. Or maybe you would like to mix the above, curled up on the couch reading or listening to the quiet while watching an outdoor fire burn in the evening. It’s your choice. (All of the above may periodically be interceded by some area farm activity.)
Hill Top Farm Guest House is intended to be more than a place to stay. It was chosen by location to slow the pace of life by disconnecting you from your usual and reconnecting you with your free spirit. It’s your time out.
This facility sleeps 10 with two full baths, complete kitchen, central A/C, comfortable baseboard heat, laundry facilities and WY-FI. It includes 1 queen size bed, 3 double beds and 2 single beds. Down stairs is a TV room and table tennis.
This get-a-way retreat gives you privacy, while offering you access to as much stimulation that you choose from a diverse menu of sights, sounds and activities.
