Why Lisa M Charest chose Pass-a-grille

This area is paradise and it is wonderful to own a small part of an island!

What makes this house unique

Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and the Tampa Bay, Pass-a -Grille Beach is a gem with water and white sand beach everywhere in an underdeveloped little island. There are ten restaurants that are enticing, yummy and only a few blocks away. Cute shops and boutiques run along 8th Ave, the smallest downtown in the US which is perfect for strolling. Pass a Grille Beach is mostly a residential beach- It is perfect for a life made for walking, relaxing, cycling or swimming. The beach house is only a few steps from our beach trolley stop and the trolley can take you to wherever you want to go.. or you can just stay, enjoy the water, the sea grapes and the local restaurants as they entice all who come to this area. Above all enjoy the sunset that has made Pass a Grille/St Pete Beach the 'sunset capital of FL the water is all around to reflect the suns rays and shine with warmth on each glorious day.

The 2 bedroom bungalo is nicely decorated and clean. Not as nice as we expected.

  • 1 of 5

The location was great and we walked to the beach, restaurants and the dock. The house is a small cottage and was not as nice as other properties we have stayed at in the area.

When we asked Lisa about more towels and wash clothes (2 a pieces for a week's stay)or if we were to wash them ourselves, she was rude and very unprofessional. She reminded me we aren't at a hotel. I've never had a HomeAway house or condo where the owner did not make us feel at home, until now. The bikes are rusted and junk, the washer and dryer are coin operated and I rate this place as less normal rentals.

We left the place neat and clean and texted when we left and not even a thank you or acknowledgement of our stay.

Lisa, I'm disappointed and we'll never stay in one of the properties you manage again.

Owner's Response: I’m so sorry to have disappointed you I thought that by bringing you the extra wash cloths within a half an hour of your request would have satisfied you- I know my initial reaction was surprise since I had left six wash cloths for you-so when you said you needed more, I was confused. if my confusion sounded like disrespect in anyway I’m sorry about that I simply was wondering if my cleaner had left the required amount. I was also quick to respond to other issues & questions that you had. The bikes are Electra which is a California company and although some of the handlebars are rusty they all have colorful paint, bells, they pedal well & have baskets. Unfortunately the salt air is not easy on metal bikes here in the island but they are high-quality bikes and they all work well and they have the cute factor.. Again I’m sorry to have disappointed you during your stay- I hope you have a wonderful time in any future rental. I endeavor to make every person‘s vacation nice as possible- unfortunately I guess I’m not able to hit the hundred percent mark every time -

Nice family getaway and early fall beach trip

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a very nice, low-key family getaway to PAG. The house was in such a perfectly convenient location just steps to the beach. There was plenty of room in the house for our family of four to spread out but also enjoy each other's company. Our four year old son loved watching cartoons on Netflix. It was nice having access to beach chairs and beach towels so that we didn't have to travel with those items. I was also able to do a load of laundry and come home with a suitcase full of clean clothes.

Adorable bungalow and a great place to get away.

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was fantastic! It's in a great area of Pass-a-Grille, just a few houses from the Gulf or the Bay. The house was perfect for me and my husband but we would have had plenty of room for 2 more people. The cottage was well stocked and the beach chairs came in handy every day. We were close enough to walk to the restaurants and stores on 8th Ave. and just a short bike ride to Shaner's Market on 20th Ave. for meats, deli items and groceries. When Hurricane Irma altered our travel plans, Lisa was wonderful and very accommodating since 2 of our flights were cancelled. We plan to go back to the Seahorse again. We loved it!!

Perfect Beach Vacation Home.

  • 5 of 5

If your looking for a romantic getaway or family vacation, look no further than the Seahorse. What a great house in a great location. The Seahorse had the perfect amenities and your steps from the beach. Lisa, the owner, gave us the perfect recommendations on where to go. No need to drive anywhere, everything is within walking distance or a bike ride away. We can't wait to go back.

Our beach cottage was vmsuper cute. It was super clean and was perfect for our family.

  • 5 of 5

The Seahorse Home is really nice. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are extremely comfortable. It is very close to the beach. Had fun walking around town to restaurants, ice cream shop and park. Recommend going to dinner at The Hurricane, make sure you go the "Rooftop" ..the top level of the Hurricane for an awesome view. Would definitely stay here again!
