Why Lisa M Charest chose St. Pete Beach

This area is paradise and it is wonderful to own a small part of an island!

What makes this house unique

Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and the Tampa Bay, Pass-a -Grille Beach is a gem with water and white sand beach everywhere in an underdeveloped little island. There are ten restaurants that are enticing, yummy and only a few blocks away. Cute shops and boutiques run along 8th Ave, the smallest downtown in the US which is perfect for strolling. Pass a Grille Beach is mostly a residential beach- It is perfect for a life made for walking, relaxing, cycling or swimming. The beach house is only a few steps from our beach trolley stop and the trolley can take you to wherever you want to go.. or you can just stay, enjoy the water, the sea grapes and the local restaurants as they entice all who come to this area. Above all enjoy the sunset that has made Pass a Grille/St Pete Beach the 'sunset capital of FL the water is all around to reflect the suns rays and shine with warmth on each glorious day.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

The home was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable and living area had sufficient seating for family time. The location was the best -- water on both ends of the street -- beach walk or bay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Don't Pass-A

  • 5 of 5

Location, location, location. A short walk to bay or the beach. Hardwood floors comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Pass-A-Grille has a slow down and relax feel.with a big open beach without the giant hotels.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This was in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and the beach. We loved this house it was the right size for 4 adults and 1 child. It was clean and had everything you would need. The only thing I would change was having a tv in the bedrooms. We visited with all the neighbors in the rentals and had a great time sitting in and talking with them in the common area. You don't need anything for the beach (umbrella, buckets, chairs, towels etc.) it was all provided. The bikes were wonderful very much enjoyed. We would rent this again and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for having such a wonderful place for us to stay on our vacation.

Great house, great location

  • 4 of 5

We had very nice time staying in Lisa's Beach house.

The only thing I would change is adding central AC to the second bedroom. Window unit is very loud (impossible to sleep) and required to be cleaned.

Also updating beach chairs and umbrella would be nice.

The rest was perfect.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the review I just ask that in the future please let me know while you are staying if there are any issues so I can resolve them at the moment not after your stay is over via a review. I want you to have the best stay possible I just need to know how things are going if something dosent meet with your expectations. I do not provide umbrellas unfortunately as they are too difficult to maintain but I will update the beach chairs if they are faulty. The bedroom is under a flat roof so central in the back bedroom is near impossible however I will have the back unit serviced if it's causing issues or is noisy right away. This is the first ever complaint on the issue I have ever had so I definately want to address it before it's a concern. Thank you again and hope you are able to return!

Terrific Place in Great Location

  • 4 of 5

We arrived to a very clean, well appointed 2 bedroom frame bungalow in Pass A Grille, FLA. Located at the very southern tip of the St Pete's beach area; Pass A Grille is quieter and the beach is equally as beautiful but less crowded than the St Pete's Beach or Clearwater Beach areas that feature the big hotels. This is a neighbourhood, with nice easy going restaurants, a good coffee shop, some fun local bars and great sunsets. My wife found that the shops in the main commercial area were also somewhat unique with their offerings. Great for walking, biking, swimming, boating etc.

Lisa clearly puts a lot of effort into her guests' experience. The place was open, airy and very clean. There was a full binder of information that was very helpful in getting to know the cottage and the surrounding area The outside seating areas were clean and comfortable the bikes in good condition and comfortable to ride. We really appreciated being able to grab a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella from the side yard and make the very short (half block) walk to the beach...close enough that you could run back to the house for food or a beverage an not feel you had to pack up the beach kit and take it back with you.. There is a good local deli and butcher nearby for those who like to create there own culinary experience aided by Lisa's well appointed kitchen and an outdoor BBQ. If you are eating out, our personal favourite was the Sea Critter Café.

In all a very good experience.

Sweet little house.

  • 5 of 5

I loved the character and atmosphere of this house. Very convenient to the beach. Very nice outdoor sitting areas. Adequately stocked and nicely decorated. My only complaint was the lukewarm water for bathing and washing dishes.
