About Bob Nadlonek

Bob and Carol grew up in Michigan and moved to Denver in 1990 to enjoy the great year-round weather, skiing, hiking and mountains. They have two adult children and one grandson. We reside full-time in Lone Tree, CO.

Bob Nadlonek purchased this house in 2001

Why Bob Nadlonek chose Northwest

The Blue River area provides access to outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling with close prooximity to Breckenridge. We found that a home was more relaxing than a condo and much quieter. Breckenridge skiing affords all level of skiiers and boarders a great experience on the mountain.

What makes this house unique

The main floor master allows easy access and a parents get-away while the kids can enjoy the bunkroom with one double bed and three twin beds. The loft area has two twin beds for additionl guests. The second bedroom has a queen bed. On the Pennsylvania Creek, you can hear the babbling brook from the deck, hike to excellent fishing on the Upper Blue River and hike/snowmobile to the Continental Divide.

Great family vacation home

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped home; great layout; easy to get to and travel to ski resorts; would recommend to others. Great family area and well equipped. Only suggestion is for fans for upstairs bedrooms as heat rises and hard to cool down at night.

Very good customer service.

Cozy, Comfortable Mountain House

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, comfortable house. The first floor has a nice open plan connecting the living room, dining area and kitchen. All of the rooms are nicely furnished with a mountain theme, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Fire wood is conveniently stored in the garage, and the fireplace keeps the house warm and cozy. The master suite on the first floor is very large, with a nicely updated bathroom and two large walk-in closets. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one containing bunk beds, and some extra beds in an open landing area. The only inconvenience is that the upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom, but there is an additional half bath (no shower) on the first floor. There is also a laundry room on the first floor, and an attached two car garage. The house is located at the end of a street and the neighboring houses are nearby, but, at least in winter, they were not obtrusive. It is only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Breckenridge, and the owners provide a notebook with information about the house and a list of suggested restaurants to try in Breckenridge. (It would also be helpful if information was provided about grocery store locations, and the best places to park for skiing). All in all a nice vacation get-away location, and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home with every amenity.

  • 5 of 5

We spent four nights in this beautiful home just outside of Breckenridge. We were a family of five, but there was plenty of room for twice as many of us! The house is lovely -- we felt like we were in our own home, just in the cool, beautiful mountains! The house is filled with every amenity. The location is a quick drive from downtown Breckenridge, so it was easy to make trips back and forth. We noticed a bus stop at the front of the subdivision, which would have been an easy walk, but we did not take advantage of this. Nearby houses are in very close proximity to this home, and we enjoyed meeting the neighbors who recommended activities and restaurants we hadn't tried on any of our previous visits to Breckenridge. If you are looking for a comfortable, beautiful, spacious and well-appointed vacation home in close proximity to Breckenridge, this is your place. The owner, Bob, was outstanding and made our VRBO experience very easy.

Perfect Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Needed to escape the summer heat in Denver and this was a PERFECT place to vacation. The owner is very responsive and helpful, and the property is beautiful inside and out. The home has all the amenities you'd ever need. Since our kids have food allergies, we do a lot of cooking on vacation and the kitchen was great -- plenty of room and everything worked.

The property is awesome with a small creek running right behind the house. We sat outside in the morning, sipping coffee and listening to the creek bubble under 50+ foot tall spruces and pines. The Clarks Nutcrackers even came down for a visit to see if we had some toast to share -- which we did, but not too much. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are very friendly. One neighbor shared some good tips on hiking and mountain biking around the area, and one evening while out walking the dog we saw her again with her kids standing along the road. When we got up to her she pointed out the bull moose that was behind another neighbor's property near the river. It was AMAZING.

All in all it was a great week spent up in the mountains in a perfect home. The owners, Bob and Carol, should be very proud of their house and any guests staying will be very happy they chose this property.

Everything you need and more !

  • 5 of 5

This house is just a couple of miles south of Breckenridge tucked away in the woods. While there are some homes that surround you there are some amazing trees that shelter you and give plenty of privacy. This home comes FULLY stocked and will have more than enough to meet your needs. Pleasant little creek that runs behind the house gives it the feel of camping on a river. Nicely furnished and it was a great place to gather with family. We will be sure to look at this house again for another reunion. Bob was a pleasure to deal with and super responsive. Plus he is a Spartan...GO GREEN !
