About Bob Nadlonek

Bob and Carol grew up in Michigan and moved to Denver in 1990 to enjoy the great year-round weather, skiing, hiking and mountains. They have two adult children and one grandson. We reside full-time in Lone Tree, CO.

Bob Nadlonek purchased this house in 2001

Why Bob Nadlonek chose Blue River

The Blue River area provides access to outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling with close prooximity to Breckenridge. We found that a home was more relaxing than a condo and much quieter. Breckenridge skiing affords all level of skiiers and boarders a great experience on the mountain.

What makes this house unique

The main floor master allows easy access and a parents get-away while the kids can enjoy the bunkroom with one double bed and three twin beds. The loft area has two twin beds for additionl guests. The second bedroom has a queen bed. On the Pennsylvania Creek, you can hear the babbling brook from the deck, hike to excellent fishing on the Upper Blue River and hike/snowmobile to the Continental Divide.

Perfect location to enjoy all that Brekenridge offers

  • 5 of 5

We choose this home based on the pictures and reviews. Very happy we did. The home was perfect for us. The house, the furnishings, the kitchen and baths, all high quality and very clean. The location is a rural neighborhood, just 5 minutes outside of the village. Close enough to run into town for takeout, but far enough out to feel the peace of the river valley. Highly recommended for a small group (4-6).

Great property in quiet area within a short distance of Breckenridge

  • 5 of 5

Had a fantastic visit. Bob's home was great. Had everything we needed for an extended stay over the Christmas/New Year's holiday with our family of 5. Linens, towels, pot/pans, dishes, washer/dryer and even spices for cooking! The power was out the evening we arrived and Bob called ahead to warn us and provided some electronic candles to get us started. By morning the power was back on. Really enjoyed the real wood burning fireplace. It helped to set the "winter vacation in the mountains" mood for us. The home was very clean and only a short drive (~3 miles) into Breckenridge for skiing, shopping or dining. Looking forward to a future visit!

Perfect in the woods

  • 5 of 5

This home is nestled in a lovely forested setting with a small stream bubbling a few feet off of the deck. The home was well cared for and well outfitted; we lacked for nothing. In fact, the property met all of expectations and exceeded most. The decor matched the setting, and the small children loved searching for all of the moose objects. The space was well suited for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The location was perfect for us as we were meeting others that live nearby. We had terrific "mini" reunion with our sons and their families that was made even better because of this lovely home. We hope to re-live this experience again in the future, and we would be delighted to stay here again. Our only disappointment was that we heard that the neighborhood moose strolled by about 30 minutes after we checked out. Another reason to return.

Cozy, well-equipped and quiet

  • 4 of 5

Lovely home! We really enjoyed the creek running just a few feet from the back deck. The property is on a dead-end dirt road without much traffic, just a 3 mile drive from Breckenridge. We saw moose two of the three mornings we were there. The home had a well-stocked pantry and had more than enough pots, pans and utensils to cook every night for our party of 10. A minor complaint would be the deck. The view and privacy were great, but it is in need of re-painting, a proper gate and more outdoor seating. That said, we still spent quite a bit of time out there. We had a group ranging in age from 2 years to 64 years and found the home to be family friendly. A high chair would be a helpful addition. We forgot ours at home, but a nice manager at Breckenridge Brewery and Pub loaned us one to use during our stay! Overall we had a really nice stay. Thanks for sharing your home with our family!

Owner's Response: The deck is scheduled to be stained next month. I will never rent to a group of 10 again.
