As a Seattle native, I've spent my life exploring diverse passions: music, architecture, travel, fitness, delicious meals, and a love of world cultures. Transformed with the help of a friend in 2003, a thoughful redesign and 1200 sf addition transformed this 1901 structure into a creative project that kick started my Seattle based design-build business. Travels in South Asia, Mexico, and northern Europe have afforded me many opportunities to explore the world and build lifetime relationships and a positive perspective that guides my current vocation as a Pilates Instructor and health enthusiast. Whether cuisine or happy hour, exciting night spots or specialty shopping, 1629th is a great jumping off point with Pike's Place Market and Pacific Place Shopping Center just down the Hill. Located just blocks from Pike, Pine, and Broadway, with a walkscore of 98, this unit is perfectly situated for easily accessing all of Downtown Seattle's major attractions, while still offering you a sense of privacy inside the bustling city. Public transportation is easily accessed, with major bus lines just blocks away on Pine and Pike Streets, and the newly opened light rail stop that can take you straight to downtown or the University District in just minutes. Definitely the fastest and easiest way to get to and from Seatac airport as well.

Great long weekend!
Great location and great layout. Just around the corner from a lot happening in the neighborhood. Loved the two story layout with living above with bedrooms below.
If you are looking for a place right in the heart of everything this is a must stay! We walked to so many local food and drink spots and for any tourist things we wanted to do it was a quick and cheep Uber ride anywhere else.
The condo itself is very comfortable, has everything you would need and the owners are super helpful and respond quickly if you have a question.
We are looking forward to our next trip to the area and we would definitely stay here again!!
NYE in seattle
Unfortunately a few issues were present that need to be addressed at this property. Overall the accommodations were great.
Entry w/ lock box slightly complicated- combination fine just opening w/ two movements not made clear in the instructions.
Water filter in refrigerator needs to be changed since the flow is very restricted
Would stay again.
Nice and simple property for two couples looking for a crash pad for their Seattle adventures.
This is a no frills property that can serve as a jump off point to explore Seattle. The quaint neighborhood gives easy access to the rest of the downtown area. We stayed here over the Christmas holiday because it was conveniently located within walking distance to many area attractions and a local hospital where we had a relative welcoming a baby. The property could have more amenities such as bedroom TVs and more seating options in the living area - but that’s not a big deal if you are trying to get out and about. For the older crowd, Apple TV may cause some confusion, but people should read more often anyway, and there is a great selection of books available. The bamboo surrounding the property provides great privacy, but the gate entrance area should be trimmed because we kept getting smacked in the face as we were coming and going.
Great Place in a Great Location
Had a great time staying here for the weekend. The condo was great for chilling in when we weren't out and about in th city. Super convenient location, too!
Comfy quiet nights sleep
Bedrooms are quiet and tucked away from the city noise. Very comfortable bed and all the needs of home are available. Location is choice to restaurants and shopping.
