This ground floor apartment with full bath easily sleeps 4 people. The bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed. Living room futon couch converts to a bed for two additional guests.
Turned off by a futon? Don't be because this is most definitely not the rock hard futon of yesteryear. Instead it’s an exceptionally comfortable, high-end mattress which i would use as my primary bed in a heartbeat
If you grow tired of dining at one of the 9 restaurants, cafes, and taverns that make up the South Hadley village commons a mere mile up the road, you can stay in and enjoy your full eat-in kitchen. There are a few parts of the kitchen where the ceiling is lower so if you're 6 feet tall or more, you may need to duck your head. But worth it to be able to cook in your fully stocked kitchen.
The yard just outside your door is yours to enjoy . Sit back and listen to the birds as you enjoy your morning coffee or sip a glass of wine as you watch the magnificent sunsets over the mountain range.

Bit of trivia. The first tenant to occupy the apartment in 1949 was Mount Holyoke college professor Dr. Grace Bates. It was the same year that bates became one of the first women in the united states to earn a PhD in math.
Interaction with guests
The entire apartment is yours to use so you can have all the privacy you need or want. This is a quiet street of lovely residential homes, many owned by mount holyoke faculty and administrators.
Getting around is super easy. If you want to drive, it's 15 minutes (tops) to amherst or the hadley malls where there's a whole foods, trader joes, and four other grocery stores. There's another major grocery store 10 minutes south.
Northampton with its abundance of restaurants and shops is also a scenic 15 minute drive away.
There's also free bus service between mount holyoke (1 mile from the apartment) and amherst and northampton. umass transit for schedules between mount holyoke, amherst, umass, and smith (northampton). The bus goes other places as well but you need to get to umass to transfer.
