Loft apartment in beautiful mountain setting
The loft has exposed timber beams, which allows it to have an open floor plan. The north facing skylights provide natural light worthy of a painting studio.
The queen size bed is located in the corner of the main area, while the full sized bed is in a separate bedroom.
The access is through a side door and up a flight of stairs.
Our area is nice for a walk down the road, which is only lightly traveled. Private parking for 2 cars is right by the building. Guests have access to the yard by the apartment but need to respect the privacy of the home next door.
Interaction with Guests
The loft apartment is the upstairs space of a detached building on our property. Our home is next door and we are available if needed.
Our loft apartment is in a quiet, private setting where you can enjoy the beauty of the Appalachian mountains, yet be only minutes from downtown Asheville. It's the perfect combination for visiting this special region. You can hike one minute and then be at a nationally renowned restaurant the next. The Biltmore Estate is 15 minutes away.
We are a short drive from downtown Asheville, conveniently located a few miles from I-40 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. No public transportation out this way.
This is a quiet area and guests are expected to be the same. No smoking on the premises. No pets allowed.

Best of both worlds !!!
What a nice small condo!! We really enjoyed our stay there!! First of all, the house was very clean and had everything you can need or think of. The only little thing that bothered us was the bed, it was too small, I wish it was 2 queen beds instead of one queen and one full.
Second, the location was very nice, at the top of a mountain in the middle of a huge forest, and very best part is that it was close to everything we wanted to see in Asheville: blue ridge parkway, downtown Asheville, and also DuPont forest.
Third, Angie is very nice, in the other reviews they talk about cupcakes, for us it was chocolate, what a nice thought!! We didn’t get a chance to meet her but she was very helpful, we called her when’s we arrived because it was dark and we were lost and she helped us find the house, she also checked on us during our stay.
Finally I would recommend this house if you want to visit Asheville, and if you want to stay in a quiet place near the city.
A great place to stay
We really enjoyed staying at this property. We are a family of three and our child is 6. Angie and Dave have done such a nice job with the place. Its quiet, clean, private and very comfortable. The check-in and out was seamless and they were great to work work with. Our recent trip to Asheville was one of our best vacations and the accommodations were an integral part of it. Its a little out-of-town but worked as a great home base to explore things in the city as well as to quickly jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway and explore the area. We definitely want to stay here again!! Things we enjoyed this time; Tropical Gardens Mini Golf (great for a 6 y.o.), Asheville Pinball Museum (excellent), The Local Joint in Fairview, White Duck Taco Shop, Mt Mitchell, Vortex Donuts, NC Arboretum, Funkatorium and more.
This property was perfect!
Some friends and I stayed at this property for two nights. It was very easy to find and extremely clean. We had everything we needed and the location was great! It wasn't a bad drive to downtown Asheville at all and the owner was extremely accommodating. We will definitely go back!
My husband and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was perfect for us. The house is extremely clean and has everything you could ever need for a short stay. I highly recommend this home. The owner was incredibly relaxed and easy to work with.
Artistic, Customized, Immaculate
The owner of the home (who lives on the property in a separate house) was so helpful with things to do in Asheville as well as guiding us to the loft when our GPS wasn't working, she was very patient with us. When we walked into the loft you could tell that someone knew what they were doing when they built and designed it, no wonder, her and her husband are both in the business. Everything, even down to the toilet paper holder and bathroom door handle are made custom and by hand out of repurposed materials, Awesome! Everything you may need is there, even toiletries if you forgot something, a lint roller, a container to chill water in the fridge etc....small things you wouldn't think of. OH and cupcakes! Delicious cupcakes were waiting for us on the kitchen counter. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!
Family Friendly Cozy yet Modern Getaway -
We had a wonderful stay in the loft. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. It rained nearly every day of our trip due to El Nino and the hurricaine and Angie was great with providing resources for us with ideas of things to do and places to eat. We had a small child with us, and she provided toys and a kids table, even a baby gate for the stairs! So helpful!! There were lots of DVD's for the rainy days as well. The linens and furniture were of good quality and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals as well. Would happily stay here again!
