Why Ray chose Sellwood - Moreland

I have lived in Sellwood for over 10 years and want to share (show off) this great neighborhood with other folks. At one time Sellwood was its own town, and in most ways, it still feels like it. It has a great friendly vibe of the 'old days' people are always quick with a hello or a smile. It's one of those neighborhoods you don't even need a car in - great shops, grocers, restaurants, wonderful parks, near the river, bike-friendly, pet friendly and wonderfully kept homes. Cheers!

Great house and wonderful location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 spent Thanksgiving week at this very nice home in Sellwood. We absolutely loved the location which allowed us to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops and for walks/runs along the river. The accommodations were perfect and the owner, Ray, was very responsive and attentive to any questions or needs we had. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Great Portland Spot!

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful home for our small family and in a perfect location: walkable, restaurants/food trucks/grocery store, parks all within a block or two. This has always been one of our favorite PDX hoods and easily accessible to bike trails and downtown.

Ray was very responsive, welcoming/accommodating, and flexible during our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this HomeAway rental and I will intend on staying here again for future Portland visits.

All the conditions were complete.

  • 5 of 5

We visited from Japan and stayed for 2 months. We have experienced vacation-rental at Sellwood 4 times. I think that Sellwood is a compact, friendly and dignified Neighborhood. Here is a store with good indies. Every house I borrowed was nice. Among them, Raymond's house was good in location, ease of use and cleanliness. I am grateful that Raymond has responded to any small demands.

Darling house...great neighborhood for walking

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our August one month stay. The house was equipped with everything you needed. Ray took care of any of our needs very quickly. Every type of Restaurant you can imagine is in easy walking distance. We had two cars and the driveway was adequate for one, but on street parking for the other was challenging. The temperatures were very warm for part of our stay, and the upstairs bedroom was too warm to sleep in many evenings, even with the A/C running. Donna Lindell
