About Greg Webb

After owning a home at Killington for 17 years, My wife and I discovered Sunday River in 2002, quite different in many ways to Killington. Since then, we have raised our children here on weekends and vacation weeks during the winter months. By trade, I am a real estate developer and have built over 200 homes in Massachusetts. Here in Maine I have also built luxury log homes, luxury post and beams homes and airplane hangars all here at Sunday River.

Greg Webb purchased this house in 2007

Why Greg Webb chose Sunday River

I chose Sunday River for the skiing. The number of trails and the number of peaks provide a great layout. You will never get bored skiing here because of the vast number of trails and the many different areas all accessible from every lodge. The mountain is user friendly so pick your poison it's all good!

Timber Village with it's proximity to the mountain and all the area has to offer is a perfect place for your weekend getaway. All accessible by the local trolley or the Mountain Explorer. The locals here are so grateful and appreciative of all the business you give them too. It is certainly "Maine the way life should be" right here.

What makes this house unique

In 2004 I constructed this 3 bedroom home along Sunday River Rd. A 2-1/12 bath luxury log home is in a development now known as Timber Village. Timber Village will consist of just 6 log homes, rustic style and from the great northwest. The logs traveled 4,000 miles from British Columbia. Each logs weighs 2,500 pounds. They provide warmth with a comfortable open floor plan.

Great house, Great location

  • 4 of 5

We just had a very nice stay with the family at this beautiful mountain home. Nothing better than a hot tub after a full day skiing! We had a small problem with the heat while we were there but Greg was very attentive and the problem was fixed within the hour. House is bright and spacious and just minutes from everything you want to do and see. Might just have to make this an annual trip. Thanks again Greg.

The home had everything one would want or expect for a ski home. My family stayed a week at the property and truly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful ski weekend with friends! After a long day of skiing, it was so great to drive just two minutes down the road to a beautiful log cabin with a cozy fire place and a hot tub to soothe your tired muscles. The house was well equipped with plenty of room for all six of us. The owner was more than accommodating. Thank you, Greg!

Beautiful log cabin

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful log cabin. Clean, cozy, yet spacious. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing at Sunday River, which is a two min drive away. Great space to rent for a family or a group of friends. Close to the mountain and a 30 second drive to the Matterhorn Restaurant. Thanks Greg. It was a pleasure to stay in your beautiful home. Do bring your hair dryer.

Owner's Response: Sarah, Nice to hear that the home was just what you were looking for. Thank you for leaving the home in immaculate condition, I truly appreciated it all! The people you met on the chairlift from Andover are my friends and I actually skied with them the very next day; what a small world. Yes and a hair dryer is on the way, good advice!. Thank you again and Happy New Year! Greg

Wonderful log house with hot tub

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our ski week at the log house. We had 4 teens, and all had enough room to do their own thing, and have great family time as well. We loved the hot tub, and fireplace. The kitchen was great, and quite well equipped.

Being so close to the ski hill was a great bonus. Great also to have the washer and dryer.

Fantastic Girls Weekend

  • 5 of 5

The place was a perfect size for 6 women, it was clean, plenty of room, and 3 bathrooms was a bonus. Gregg was easy to communicate with and allowed us to arrive early (which was a bonus since ski conditions were not great).

The only thing that was a problem was the amount of cooking utensils, the skillet's were old and small. It would be nice if the owner spent about $100 between Walmart and the local dollar stores to get some more items for cooking since we did make a few meals there. Things like: hair dryers, more of the basic spices, skillets, casserole dish, oven pans, potato masher, a few more cheap mixing bowls, plastic containers, would be helpful. Oh, we also had a problem with the DVD, no volume, after several of us tried different combinations it would play the DVD but not the volume. We could have called the owner but just didn't.

A nice touch upon our arrival was a nice bottle of Josh wine and coffee. There were plenty of towels and linens, the place heated up very quickly and was just a fun place to hang with my friends. The location is great. The bottom line we would definitely rent again!
