Just steps away from our condo is Siesta Beach, it has been rated the #1 beach in the US by Doctor Beach. It is known for its soft white quartz sand ( always cool to the touch ). The quickest way onto the beach is take a right out of the Our House driveway and walk a couple of hundred yards down Beach Road and you'll see the main entrance for the Siesta Beach parking lot. Swimming, walking, stand-up paddle boarding, birding, lounging in a beach chair or watching the incredible sunsets are just a few of the ways to enjoy this beautiful beach.
Our townhouse at Our House at the Beach is three stories tall. On the ground level there is enclosed garage parking. Above that are 2 condos. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is on the top floor and is well furnished for your comfort. A new central A/C unit was installed in the fall of 2014. The condo has wireless internet and cable television. The living room is spacious with a cathedral ceiling, comfortable furniture, a flat screen TV and a ceiling fan. The living room opens onto a balcony, overlooking a small lake. The balcony is great place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. The balcony and living room get sun for most of the day, making them a pleasant place to be when you're 'at home'.
The dining area in our bi-level condo overlooks the living room and seats six comfortably. Off the dining area is a recently remodeled bathroom and the second bedroom. This bedroom has twin beds and a flat screen TV. This bedroom and kitchen share a balcony that overlooks plantings and trees.
The kitchen includes full size appliances, a small table and chairs and is well stocked with cookware. There is a washing machine and dryer in the condo.
The private master bedroom suite features a newly remodeled bath and dressing area. It has a king size bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV. The condo is stocked with linens and beach towels.
We offer garage parking for one car. Please note that the garage entrance height is a bit over six feet. Sedans, station wagons & small SUV's fit in easily. If you have a mid to large size SUV, minivan or pickup truck please check your clearance carefully. Also, if you have a roof box, large roof rack or equipment carrier on your car, please check your height clearance before parking in the garage.
Stored in the garage are beach chairs, an umbrella and a rolling beach caddy to haul all of your belongings over to the beach. If you rent bicycles, they should be stored in the garage. If you have a second vehicle, there are outside parking spaces available. Make sure to get a parking pass from the on site rental office to post on your dash for any vehicle parked outside.
The complex has a heated pool, a covered gazebo with tables and chairs, a grilling area and two tennis courts for all guests to enjoy.
You'll love the island feel of Siesta Key Village, with its interesting variety of shops and restaurants. It's a short drive ( 1 mile ) or 15 minute walk away. There are also a number of companies in the village that provide free local transportation. The drivers will take you from the condo to Siesta Key Village for shopping, pick you up and drop you off for dinner. One way or round trip, anyplace that you want to go on the island - THE RIDE IS FREE. All you pay is a tip to your driver.
Other area activities available are: fishing charters, jet skis, birding, biking, golf ( 40 area courses ), wind surfing, kite boarding, to name just a few.
Sarasota, a 10-15 minute drive away offers museums, a botanical garden, music, art galleries, casual and fine dining and world class shopping at St. Armands Circle. Also, on Saturday there is a Farmers' Market in Sarasota, from 7am -1pm. It's located on N. Lemon & Main Streets. You can purchase fresh local produce, plants & flowers, seafood, baked goods, breakfast, lunch and craft items.
It is our hope that you enjoy a sunny, relaxing vacation in our tranquil non-smoking condo. All you have to do is pack your suitcase!

From the laid back atmosphere of Siesta Key Village, to the big city feel of Sarasota. The area offers an amazing array of amenities, all within a 15-20 minute drive.
