The property was amazing we really enjoyed everything. The patio and dock was absolutely gorgeous.
The kids enjoyed trying to fish, we had egg hunts, and played tug a war. We did a number of things and it was such a gorgeous day. I do recommend this location to all. I will stay here again next year.
Nice but outdated & grimy
The facility accommodated our extended family and had the bare necessities to be able to cook a meal. However upon arrival my daughter-in-law needed to sweep the floors, I had to wash all the dishes before using them because there was debris on them from previous use, and we had to purchase plug in air fresheners because the home was very musty smelling. The linens were mismatched, some with bleach marks. The interior decorating was very bare bones and an odd assortment of items. The grounds were in need of maintenance with overgrown shrubbery at entrance and an accumulation of leaves on the decks and walkways.
Our family had a wonderful stay at your rental. The house was clean and inviting and the views of the cove from inside the home and on the patio were wonderful.

We rented this lakefront home in the winter, to stay close to our kids in Kingwood. It was a bit further away than we thought. Driving on SH 1960 to their home off of US 59 was terrible. So it was not convenient for us. The house itself looks great in the photos but the photos must have been from long ago. The home was clean and decent but many things needed fixing or replacement. The HVAC in winter was always a problem. The thermostat did not work properly so we were either too cold or too hot. The kitchen faucet was broken. The cable worked intermittently. Bed linens were very old. There was literally one table lamp in the whole house. The front door security lock system malfunctioned several times locking us out in the rain once. The kitchen could have used some decent cooking utensils and basics too. I will say that the property manager was very polite and attentive to our requests. The place just needed a real good update throughout.
The Waterfront Lake Houston is a wonderful vacation property. Home contains most of your basic essentials to make you feel right at home. An iron and ironing board would be a great addition for guests. The view of the lake was spectacular! The front appearance could use a little TLC. Overall, this home is very inviting and beautiful. The loft upstairs was a big win for the kids!
