Charming Home with great views of Lake

  • 5 of 5

Our family throughly enjoyed our time in this cozy home and neighborhood. Wonderful walking the hilly streets to the lake and Seward Park . Great restaurants and shops nearby.

Great customer service!

  • 5 of 5

Booked the house for a summer 2017 wedding in nearby Seward Park. Perfect location. Unbelievable deck and backyard for summer outdoor relaxing and entertaining! Susannah let us view the house in advance, which was very useful. Unfortunately, the available dates didn't work out for our out-of-town guests, and we had to cancel. Full, immediate refund was granted per the cancellation policy. Highly recommended!

Lovely home with spectacular views!

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for our family vacation to Seattle. The location was outstanding, within walking distance to Columbia City and local cafes. The accommodations are very nice, and the views from the deck are beautiful over the lake. The view of downtown from the front yard is great, too! The owner is very accessible and helpful. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seattle.

Cute home in great location near downtown Seattle

  • 4 of 5

The location of this home was great for quick access to Columbia City, downtown Seattle and the airport. The house was cute and comfortably furnished with plenty of room for my husband and I and our two kids (age 18 and 21) to spread out in. The deck has a view of Lake Washington and was in my opinion one of home's best features-- great for morning coffee and sharing meals in the evening. We enjoyed walking to the nearby coffee shop, running along Lake Washington and hiking around Seward Park which has an awesome view of Mount Rainier in the distance. Overall an enjoyable stay!

Very comfortable home-away-from-home

  • 4 of 5

Five of us (all adults) stayed at this very comfortable home over Christmas. The location just off Lake Washington afforded views of both the lake and downtown. For those who like to run/jog, there is very easy access to the running path along the lake, and also to Seward Park. The master bed and bedroom was very comfortable. The other second floor bedroom, with bunk beds and an additional twin, would be ideal for children, but worked OK for our son and daughter-in-law. Similarly, the compact upper bathroom is fine for children and small adults, but a bit cramped for larger adults. Across the hall is a gem of a sitting room, an ideal getaway for a cup of hot tea, music, and something to read. The first floor bedroom, with a queen-sized futon, was perfect for a member of our party who had difficulty with stairs; the adjacent full bath was full of light, when the sun shone (well, it is Seattle), and has a great shower. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owners were very gracious and accessible, and their helpfulness contributed greatly to our very enjoyable stay.

Great location for us

  • 5 of 5

Eight members of our family stayed here for 5 days while attending our daughter's wedding in Seattle. We found the house charming and clean. For us it was a great location, a quiet neighborhood, and close to our daughter's house, attractions, the grocery store and wonderful restaurants in Columbia City. Susannah was always available to answer our questions. We had wonderful views from the house of downtown, Mt. Baker and Lake Washington. We enjoyed Seward Park and the 2 mile trail along Lake Washington. After full days and evenings of activities, we were always happy to come back and relax in "our home away from home". Thanks to our hosts. We loved your home.
