Spectacular manchester home with stunning mountain views. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, yet three minutes to the restaurants and outlet shops in downtown Manchester. Near Bromley and Stratton. The acclaimed fine dining chantecleer restaurant is walking distance and rated one of the best in Vermont.
Soaring ceilings in the great room, woodstove, and built-in seating alcove by the fire. A large dining room with expandable table for 10-12. A spacious kitchen with newer black appliances, and jennair stove with indoor bbq grill. Also on the first floor is an attached 2-car garage with ski storage area, and a large mudroom with washer/dryer.
Three large bedrooms and huge sleeping loft with queen futon provide sleeping accommodations for 8-10 people on first and second floors. The first floor offers a private master suite with a queen bed, walk-in closet, and master bathroom with jacuzzi soaking tub. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms. The first is the second master bedroom, with a king bed and sitting area. The remaining bedroom offers two queen beds. There are 2 1/2 baths - one full on the first floor, one full bath on the second, and a half bathroom off the kitchen. A flat screen tv and DVD player are located in the loft with movies, as well as a foosball activity table. The loft also offers an array of children's toys and a train table.
Brand new finished lower level room adds 600 square feet of additional living space! Ten foot ceiling, four built-in queen bunk beds sleep eight extra individuals in private compartments. Huge 55" flat screen on the wall in the sitting area with PlayStation and Wii gaming systems. 10'x8' quad glass door to allow for lots of natural light - it does not feel like a basement! This extra area may be rented for any period for an additional $150/night, plus $50 additional cleaning fee. If you do not have a large group you are not obligated to rent this room. The 3000 square foot home is large enough to sleep 8-10 without the need for the lower level sleeping area. The lower level will not be rented out separately if you choose not to rent it. Please understand if your group is over 8 adults (or ten kids) we will require you to rent the lower level.
The home is very family friendly. There is a full sized crib in the first floor master bedroom walk-in closet. Stored upstairs in the king master bedroom closet is a toddler bed, bed rail, and child gate for the stairs. Located in the downstairs built-in closet in the dining room is two space-saver high chairs and booster seat. In the great room are dozens of children's books, puzzles, and board games for all ages.
A newer 7-person hot tub has been recently installed on the outdoor deck, steps from the front door. It has a waterfall, 50 jets, foot massagers, and underwater led lights. It is a high-end model with very efficient insulation, enabling us to keep it at a constant 100 degrees, even in the coldest winter weather. This means that you can come back from skiing or eating out, and hop right in! No waiting 2-3 hours for a typical hot tub to heat up to the right temperature. We have a 24/7 maintenance agreement with the spa company in case anything malfunctions, which means they will service it immediately if any problems are found.
Other amenities include: miles of trails out the front door for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. A teak wood outdoor table and chair set with seating for ten, and a newer bbq gas grill kept on the deck from may-november. Large firepit for lazy summer evenings under the stars.
