About Ira and Shelly Brezinsky

As life-long New Englanders, we love to hike and ski. Our four children learned to ski at an early age (our youngest at the age of 2!), and they all continue to share our passion for the mountains and the outdoors.

Ira and Shelly Brezinsky purchased this condo in 2013

Why Ira and Shelly Brezinsky chose White Mountains

Now that our children are grown and we are 'empty nesters', we have a bit more time to get away. We LOVE the White Mountains and our townhouse in Bethlehem is the perfect size and location for us. Since purchasing our little piece of paradise in 2013, we have enjoyed getting away with family and friends.

Great base with plenty of room

  • 2 of 5

We loved a lot about this unit. It is clean, in a great, quiet location with a beautiful view of the woods out the living room. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. Kitchen was perfect for cooking some meals (although we kept it simple), with a good sized dining table, living room with two couches, and master bedroom on ground floor with one bathroom and laundry. Location was great for access to the White Mountains and all they have to offer. The swimming pool was a treat on the rainy days and evenings (there is also a hot tub next to the pool in the common amenities building for the project). Now the down sides; the master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable (not sure why, it didn't seem to flimsy or firm, and maybe that's just particular to my wife and I) so we slept on the couches. No A/C either and if it were hot, that would not be comfortable. Lucky for us it was cool for the duration of our stay. Also, one of the upstairs bedrooms doesn't even have a ceiling fan and the floor fan had a broken control so we had to unplug it to shut if off. There was also a stain and damaged ceiling above the living room at the lower end of the skylight. I would hope they fix that before the next people rent this unit . . . .

Owner's Response: Hello Jason, Thank you for taking the time to write. We are sorry our second home did not meet your expectations. We have owned this condo for about 4 1/2 years and have periodically rented to vacationers for most of that time. Our guests have generally been pleased with their accommodations. Any time a deficiency has been brought to our attention, we have quickly addressed the issue. Regarding the mattress in the first floor master bedroom, it is a relatively new mattress and we have had some guests comment that it is quite comfortable. We will check it out when we are there next week. You are correct that we do not have air conditioning and this is quite common in northern New Hampshire. We do not list air conditioning in our listing. We do have a large ceiling fan hanging from the vaulted ceiling in living room and another ceiling fan in the second floor master bedroom. We were not aware that the portable fan in the third bedroom had a faulty switch and we will be sure to replace it when we are there next week. Regarding the relatively minor stain on the living room ceiling, this is the result of a leak that developed around the skylight in the winter of 2016. In the Spring of that year we replaced the skylight and repaired and painted the ceiling. Unfortunately, it appears that the proper paint or sealer was not used in the repair and the stain has reappeared. We are in the process of having this corrected. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay and plan to visit the White Mountains again in the future. Best Regards, Ira and Shelly Brezinsky

A fun family thanksgiving in NH.

  • 5 of 5

The property was very clean . We cooked

Thanksgiving dinner there . Having all

the utensils there made preparation easy.

The beds were very comfortable .The

owners were very responsive to any emails .

We even used the jacuzzi in the rec. center.

We would definitely rent it again.

The house was great. Roomy and well stocked.

Ira and Shelly take care of all the small details.

Ira communicated with me before, during and after the stay to make sure everything is all right.

Would definitely look to come again!

Owner's Response: Debora, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are sorry you did not have a good experience at our home. This is the first time any of our guests have complained about the beds or pillows. In fact several guests have commented that the beds are quite comfortable. We do, however, agree that a few of the pillows could use replacing and we have done so. Best, Ira and Shelly Brezinsky

Great family friendly property

  • 5 of 5

We rented this property for a long ski weekend and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The owners are incredibly easy to work with and the condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our family has two young boys and the layout and room setup was perfect. I would highly recommend this rental and will for sure be back next year.
